Have you tried this sort of pruning on established roses that haven't been pruned properly todate ie how did they respond?
Yes the same should work for more established roses. They will send up new growth 👍
@@mdgardenservices7819 Just for info, tried this out on a new job & it didn't work, I'll only prune roses properly that have been pruned properly from when they have been planted from now on.
Sorry to hear that! What happened?Roses always send up fresh growth. The only time they might not is if they are very diseased or in decline anyway 😕
@@mdgardenservices7819 They didn't put on new growth so reduced plants are just left. The customer mulches so the soil should be ok.
Sorry to hear that! I’ve never known roses to not grow back from being pruned! Light or hard!They normally love it and put on stronger growth.
