There are ultimates in the game that have remained unchanged for many patches, and as newer characters are added or older ones are tweaked, especially with damage resist abilities, ultimates like blade or tire become completely obsolete as long as their target has their damage resist button off cooldown. Ultimates, as they are scarce and finite resources, should NOT lose most of the time against a cooldown. Managing your ultimate around cooldowns isn't fun, especially when so many characters have tools to negate/survive an ultimate.
He survived Dvas bomb, Junkrats explosive tire head on, hardly took damage from ventures ult, tanked orisas ult, tanked genjis dragon blade, and can survive torbs ult if he walks out of it with just his damn block, WITH HIS HAND IN FRONT OF HIMSELF HE TOOK ALL OF THAT. This is good balancing according to the balance team
Because it is well know that when you're slow af you will not get slept, naded, hooked, rocked, focused, flanked, etc, plus you arent doing shit while blocking, what's exactly the problem? As if bap, dva, sigma, zen and others can negate ults (for the whole team too, not just for themselves)
You could shield off, matrix, particle barrier off ults at launch. You could genji dash or tracer blink out of mei ult on launch. Hazard is the best tank and is op right now A good tank player would want to have all the attention damage and resources from the heroes you listed as counters so his team can take the advantage btw I’m assuming you’re a boosted support player

B L O C K: 75% Damage Reduction for around 4 seconds on top of it being on a resource meter oh btw did I forget to mention that it also reloads your gun overtime and damage any enemy that get close? You get all of that just by holding the block button. Now put that ability with all the other abilities Hazard has, and he's an absolute menace. Everyone's so angry about hazard's block, but in all reality he's probably one of the most balanced characters we've had in awhile. His block doesn't last very long and sure, it can survive a tire and an ult from DVA, but so can doomfist, ramatra, and orisa with their defense abilities and their abilities are arguably better defense wise, the damage from the spikes from his defense form isn't that much and you have to be extremely close for it to damage someone, which is a very risky thing to do because all it takes is one sleep dart from ana, an orb from zen, or them just waiting out his block and then he's screwed. Ramatra has better block in his muscle form, and hazard is extremely easy to counter with almost any other tank. People just want to complain for the sake of complaining these days.

I don't play the game anymore, but this seems ok-ish maybe slightly weak. If you count in allied healing and enemy dps, he still melts quite a lot considering there's only 1 tank in the game now. Genji almost dying from just using his blade could look stupid, but at what point would a genji blade the tank before anyone else?
Of course Orisa is one of the ones who can survive it with no issue. She's already one of my most hated characters, right up there with Sombra, Rodahog and Ana

It's a short cooldown that only covers in front of him, he can still be hit with cc, his mobility isn't that great for running away, if they change anything it should only be either the damage or angle.
The ability recharges too fast, it should have a longer delay to start the recharge and build back a bit slower, the ability is just way too overtuned and spammable rn

It's a short cooldown that only covers in front of him, he can still be hit with cc, his mobility isn't that great for running away, if they change anything it should only be either the damage or angle.

The ability recharges too fast, it should have a longer delay to start the recharge and build back a bit slower, the ability is just way too overtuned and spammable rn
