Great content! - just signed up... Looking forward to seeing what SS can do. Am a Notion user right now, but need a more robust feature set surrounding multiple projects with several clients. One suggestion - and I imagne it would help a multitude of others - please use some type of highlighter or other feature for the mouse cursor so we can actually see where you are navigating during your presentations...

Layla! Thanks for always providing helpful tutorials and videos. I followed along, YAY! I'm wondering about the My Work area...I was there (after I entered some of my tasks). I see them on the view. There's an "add task" button there on that page. When I click that and select the HQ we set up today it doesn't show up there....is that a design feature or a bug?
Kimberly you and I think alike! 😂 I did the exact same thing when using SmartSuite at first, thinking it was a bug. It turns out that it's a design choice made by SmartSuite. Essentially, they treat records created within My Work as a "private" Task and, even if selecting an area in your Workspace, they will not actually show up there. I thought it was odd at first, too, but the more I've used it the more it's become handy. I wish there was an option to toggle it on/off though!

Hi. The content is very helpful. I am following your channel for a month. Need some more help. How can I see the stage history of the tasks if someone updated the task? I am planning to use it for sales CRM, but not able to find this.
Great question! Opening up the record has a clock icon on the top right. To view activity history click this icon. It'll allow you to see any updates to the record including changes made to any fields. To view the exact changes made to a field, click on the activity you want to see and the details will appear.
One big problem I found: "My work" does not work for sub-items (only for checklists). The support tells me that they are working on it but currently this function is missing. There are also a few small things, e.g. empty groups in lists are not displayed... unfortunately this does not work and there is no option for it.
I'll be there with you! Having sub-items displayed in my work would be beneficial. I would consider using checklist items for action steps that can be completed within a few seconds to less than 3 minutes. For anything else that requires an assignee and a due date, I would utilize a record until the sub-item feature is visible in my work. As far as the groups, I agree with you. You could create a feature request inside Smartsuite's Canny page to see if it's something worth other users would like to implement. smartsuite.canny.io/
