You must run the clean cycle first and drain the water out of the machine. It will take a few minutes. After you run the clean cycle on your ice machin, do this. I have a dumb question regarding the “daily” cleaning with bleach. First step is to unplug the lines and drain into the sink. Then you add the water and bleach solution to the water tray. Do you reconnect the two lines in back and then press clean? Or, do you leave those two lines hanging into the sink and then press clean? TIA!

I do not use bleach. I use vinegar. Those lines are drain lines for the bottom tank. Those are used with the clean cycle on the machine for draining. I would run it first to empty the tank/lines. Do your cleaning then run a whole cycle of vinegar water through the machine after wiping it down and drain again. I hope that helps.
