Not everyone is into marvel movies so i doubt absolutley everyone saw the trailer or the movie as soon as they came out. I would say tho they should've kept this a secret if they wanted it to be shocking

I mean....she was sealed away for a REASON Hel was pretty much the equal of Odin in Norse Myth except she ruled Helheim when Loki killed Baldur (in actual myth) Odin didn't just go there and demand him back he had to get her permission or in this case get ever person on Midgard to mourn and want him back (prob is Loki found out and screwed it up ....of course also how he got punished too)
