Hi, you said that the Active speaker which has an inbuilt amplifier, which is enough to power the additional passive speaker without any need for additional amplifiers. Will the performance still be good enough ?
Hi Eric, if I already had a PK108 (passive) and I purchase another PK112A then connect it to my PK108 is it OK? What will be the power output they will result?
Hi Eric! Great video, It would be really helpful if you could give the dimensions of PK112a. I'm going to order one myself but I can't get accurate dimensions from the amazon seller
you said when you power the passive speaker with the amplified speaker that it is louder. Does this not just split the amplifier power between the 2? I would expect less volume with half the amperage. Am I wrong?
Can I connect the audio connection of the powered one from a mixer to the xlr or the 1/4 jack as it says mic 1? Isn’t it way to much volume since I’m hooking the mixers outputs masters or I get a 1/4 jack ? As I have tried or tested
Hi.. Mic 1 is just for mic input. Line signal from your mixer will overdrive this channel and get distorted. The only line input in this spk is the RCA
@@charlschuck6 you need to set it almost zero to get undistorted signal. And it will be easily distort the signal. This speaker is not very loud. Suitable for general speech usage
@@ericcheesaihoo Thats a surprise I heard one guy on youtube playing the speaker from a balcony and recorded the sound 500 feet away, seems like a good party speaker or even loud to practice music from a media player? The 300w 10 inch has half the amps, than the 600w 12 inch, seems like this would blast loud...
Eric, hi! I have a quastions. Please, tell me. Is it possible to connect an PK112A active speaker with any PK112A active speaker? Or we only connected PK112A active speaker and PK112 passive?
@antoine0569 Thats for 1 watt 1 meter standard sensitivity rating. I'm talking peak spl. 96 db is probably what output a phone would produce... not too loud
Hi Eric , I have been following your presentation on the Behringer PK112 series and DR-DSP series. However, I can't decide Which of these two are greater for live performance ?
@@timino8142 yes I used it for practice a couple of days ago. I got a mixer to make it a little louder because it was clipping a little bit, the microphone preamps, but yes it's is great for what it does. Haven't tried the Bluetooth on it yet, but that's a feature I don't see myself using that much lol
I personally do not recommended pk112 for stage monitor except you have very little money to spend. For stage monitor i would prefer to use active speaker. However pk112a is not recommended by me too due to same reason and the active version lack of balance line input (it only have unbalance RCA line input). topp pro x12a which i shared recently in my channel is much superior performance. Of course it is higher in price but it is an affordable one.
Is the trial in the video parallel using one active speaker and one passive speaker?
Thanks for the details!
Good luck!
Is there an echo and control in this device to use the mic?
Hi Eric
PK112A vs DR112DSP, which one is better?? Why?
Bro can u pliz mention that first song I really loved that one

Good performance is subjective. But the additional output to passive speaker has identical performance

Not recommended as different size has different power rating and loudness

You can find it at behringer.com

hi, the amplifier run in 8 ohm speaker in single unit. when connected to second passive version, the amplifier run in 4 ohm.
Bro eric,, speakon dari pk110a boleh bagi hidup pk110 tak ?
Boleh
Can I connect it to smart tv using rca cable for karaoke? Thank you.

Is this unit loud for a band practice against an acoustic drum set?
to me no. to others may yes because of the low price.
