Ciana Grosse-Rhode I feel you.... it hits me strong and strange. It makes MEE feel as it is the end coming to MEE when the Sun Explodes & I am taken to God’s Champagne Super Nova in the Sky.

My best mate whom met as backpackers in London July 1996. What a time , what memories that are forever etched into archives of the mind to be extracted in an instant by such an associated classic tune
Unfortunately I do not have anyone to think about when I hear this song. But one thing is for certain is regardless of whether or not you have or don't have anyone to think about, this is still a very amazing song and for me one of the best pieces of music ever written that never fails to make me cry when I sing along to it, and this is coming from someone who only just recently discovered the amazing band that is Oasis
A masterpiece of art... Such a special band with such a special music, such a special lyrics and such a special atmosphere. Everytime I hear any of their songs, simply I'm just amazed...

I’m gonna be honest, I was born in 2007. But this song, this band feel so so nostalgic. I’m currently struggling with mental illness but I’m turning to music in my time of need and god it’s helping so much :)

This song has a special place in my heart. It’s magical and brings me at peace in this chaotic world thats happening right now. Much peace to everyone listening to this kind of music! Mabuhay!
Listening in 2019 because this song makes me reflect on the past decade which I have spent battling alcoholism. If you’ve been through it, you get it. This song so eloquently describes the descent into addiction. I even tried “getting away for the summer”...so glad to be on the other side.
There are certain songs one must not ever put away for good, no matter how many times said tune has been redundantly played. This is one of those songs.
My son is about to graduate high school in another month. I decided to share this gem from when I graduated 25 years ago. This was the jam back then!! Class of 1996, meet Class of 2021!!
He was 10 and didn't understand why I liked this song. One day he vanished after years of pain and torture in a hospital and I finally understood. I was caught beneath the landslide and still slowly clawing my way out although i want to leave with him. Words and melody put into a pain I cannot describe. He is gone and I remain, so unworthy and filled with anger. May my special angel forgive me.
So if I gave you another 5 amazing songs by the band & even Noel you'd just wait until this Yedam dude tells you to listen to them right? How could one of the biggest bands in the *WORLD* passed you by? 2 min trailer about the band which hopefully might educate you in them & Rock music generally! ruclips.net/video/7wZJqUrJyDs/видео.html
Almost every great band has its legendary long song. Led Zeppelin: Stairway to Heaven, The Who: Won't Get Fooled again, Nirvana: Where did you sleep last night (the cover), Queen: Bohemian Rhapsody, Guns n Roses: November Rain, Oasis: Champagne Supernova. Etc.
The older I get , the most appreciate this song. I think that right now it's just become my Oasis favourite song. Sorry about that Noel (it used to be "Don't look back in Anger" by far for many years). But this song it's just hitting me so hard and deep today. Loveeee it 💘
*70's* is when it was happening! Something like 83% of all the albums in *Top 100* lists come from that decade & mostly all performers were from the UK!
Love you Nick and everyone for all you’ve done to help It means so much to me I can’t describe how touching it is for all the support along the way I couldn’t have done it alone
I've had a girlfriend. For 7 years. She was perfect, she was my queen, she was my everything. She taught me everything, she gave me everything. Then I fucked up. And in january 2020 I lost her. She was an Oasis fan. Yesterday, at the beach, after 5 months, I saw her, with her new boyfriend (whom she was already dating in January). It was... not nice ahah I saw her, she saw me... and I left. I love her and I miss her. I wish her the best.
that's rough. this is one of the reason's no longer go to public places. I'm not afraid of running into my ex and his partner. I just fear if I see them, I might breakdown in the middle of the public. I have nowhere and no one to run to.
R.I.P. Mom will also miss you everyday and pray for you. I think sometimes regarding my last day and concluded that I am going to be sad about only one thing (can't see my son).
I will raise my kids with this music. Oasis, linkin park, and many more icons than I could possibly name. They’re going to know how important good music is
I finally found this song today! After like 5 years of searching. I heard it in my teachers class while we were doing a test. I always thought the lyrics were I can't believe the last time but now I see it's landslide.
So if I gave you another 5 amazing songs by the band & even Noel you'd just wait until this Yedam dude tells you to listen to them right? @@divyapal6507 Yeah that's great *IF* people actually did any "exploring!" The fact that music sank to its lowest common denominator many years ago was down to people just listening to the crap they were fed on "talent shows" & films. With over 40 years of objectively listening to music now & upwards of 20 - 30,000 songs rattling around my head let me tell you, you've missed a lot of gold in a lot of hills!
Fun fact: Paul Weller did the guitar solo on a old Vox AC30 with a White Gibson SG, and he did the descending whistle after the solo too. Recorded at Orinoco Studios after the main song was recorded.
I love this song. Not only does it take me to the time and place of me sharing and singing this song with my little brother and sister, both of whom passed, but it's messsge is so real to me. God bless you all.
I don’t usually comment, but I’ve been going through a depressed state. Everything just isn’t the same and my body, mind, and soul feels it. I watched Made Of Honor with Patrick Dempsey and I heard “stop crying your heart out” which has been me everyday since March. I lost someone I loved because they simply didn’t love me back...or at least that’s what I believe. I texted her I missed her a couple days ago, and nothing. Then today at 3am I couldn’t help but write her why I am the way I am and that I promised it wouldn’t be like this forever...that I’d move on. I don’t expect anything..from anyone, I just wish people would say they love you and not leave in such a short amount of time. Mean what you say because not everybody’s heart is built the same. Much love to you all who have read this
Im guilty of this. I promised that I love her. But I honestly don't understand what love is until I lost her. I still try to keep my promise by building up her sster's confindce but I know I could not go back to her, not anymore. I am moving forward, having deeper relationship with my peers. Im always praying that she'll be fine and the path she chose will lead her to better life.
Destiny life is tragically flawed and beautiful at the same time. Love yourself and have faith. That’s all you can do. Why people leave has nothing to do with you. You are your own beautiful being and flawed like everyone else. Head up girl and move on.
"Cause people believe their gonna get away for the summer" Been seeing a lot of this same story in welsh/manx/Irish folklore lately...even British fiction...that there are always two entities opposite of one another that share domain of thw this world. Entering the summer eqinox and completeing the winter, they switch places. Such examples are: Gwyn ap Nudd and Annwn, The Oak King and The Holly King, Brigid/Hecate. The winter was always associated with the Underworld while Summer was a personification of the Light frequency. I always see things in hindsight.... Sorry. But that was cool. Maybe someone in the band was like hey man why are drugs illegal? If this is so bad why have i become so much more aware since its use? And somehow they also, Like me, (I hope, otherwise I think entirely tok much) wrote a cool song with some hidden good stuff educating like other almost there like minded people to "keep em sharp"...i dunno. But I'm finding clues in everything. Thanks for letting me share (:
This was one of my dads favorite songs. I sang it to him while he was in a coma, 2 days before he passed away. Anytime I hear this I think of him.

What about everybody who says that they were born in the wrong generation?
One of my favorite songs. It's like I'm on a different dimension when listening
What did he think about it?
He was 10 and didn't understand why I liked this song. One day he vanished after years of pain and torture in a hospital and I finally understood. I was caught beneath the landslide and still slowly clawing my way out although i want to leave with him. Words and melody put into a pain I cannot describe. He is gone and I remain, so unworthy and filled with anger. May my special angel forgive me.
Wanna talk about it?
You were already forgiven
I'm sorry man
Yedam brought me here!! I’m really into with this song ❤️
So if I gave you another 5 amazing songs by the band & even Noel you'd just wait until this Yedam dude tells you to listen to them right?
How could one of the biggest bands in the *WORLD* passed you by?

This song gets better every time you listen to it
Am a 19 year old girl and I love this song sooo much since I was 15. I'm always coming back to listen to this, and it's September 8, 2020.
This song makes me cry when I think of my dad even though he is still alive
This song, man...doesn’t matter how many years pass, always bring me back
who’s listening during quarantine ? 🙋♀️ april 2020, anyone ...

Never gets old. ❤️❤️
Quarantine sucks ngl
Almost every great band has its legendary long song. Led Zeppelin: Stairway to Heaven, The Who: Won't Get Fooled again, Nirvana: Where did you sleep last night (the cover), Queen: Bohemian Rhapsody, Guns n Roses: November Rain, Oasis: Champagne Supernova. Etc.
The best song
Rest in peace mama ❤9/5/71-10/3/17❤

Matt Dacuma 2021 and still my song
The older I get , the most appreciate this song. I think that right now it's just become my Oasis favourite song. Sorry about that Noel (it used to be "Don't look back in Anger" by far for many years). But this song it's just hitting me so hard and deep today. Loveeee it 💘
I love 90’s music so much!
*70's* is when it was happening! Something like 83% of all the albums in *Top 100* lists come from that decade & mostly all performers were from the UK!
Some of the best music ever the 90s was so awesome
Sure was brother.
The Nostalgia is out of this world. Its like im still back at our old house and my dad be playing this with max volume. Some good sht to date. ✊🏻🧡
You don't know this song until you had a broken heart in the summertime and singing it walking the sidewalks of your town
My mom used to love this song I think of her every time I play it
Love you Nick and everyone for all you’ve done to help
It means so much to me I can’t describe how touching it is for all the support along the way
I couldn’t have done it alone
I've had a girlfriend.
For 7 years.
She was perfect, she was my queen, she was my everything.
She taught me everything, she gave me everything.
Then I fucked up.
And in january 2020 I lost her.
She was an Oasis fan.
Yesterday, at the beach, after 5 months, I saw her, with her new boyfriend (whom she was already dating in January).
It was... not nice ahah
I saw her, she saw me... and I left.
I love her and I miss her.
I wish her the best.
head up mate
that's rough. this is one of the reason's no longer go to public places. I'm not afraid of running into my ex and his partner. I just fear if I see them, I might breakdown in the middle of the public. I have nowhere and no one to run to.

I finally found this song today! After like 5 years of searching. I heard it in my teachers class while we were doing a test. I always thought the lyrics were I can't believe the last time but now I see it's landslide.
Love this song, no matter how old it is. Reminds me of a more chill time in my life.
What were those times like?
Noel and Liam truly were the Lennon and McCartney of the 90’s.

@@pup1008 calm down it's not the end of the world. Let people explore music in whichever way they can.
Peace.
@@divyapal6507
Yeah that's great *IF* people actually did any "exploring!"
The fact that music sank to its lowest common denominator many years ago was down to people just listening to the crap they were fed on "talent shows" & films.
With over 40 years of objectively listening to music now & upwards of 20 - 30,000 songs rattling around my head let me tell you, you've missed a lot of gold in a lot of hills!
Can’t be the only one constantly listening to this!
I wish I could go back to the 90s...💚💚💚

Fun fact: Paul Weller did the guitar solo on a old Vox AC30 with a White Gibson SG, and he did the descending whistle after the solo too. Recorded at Orinoco Studios after the main song was recorded.
Take me back to the 90s 🙌🏽
Nicely done, awesome job thank you...
Some of the best lyrics ever. I listened to this on repeat when it came out
I love this song. Not only does it take me to the time and place of me sharing and singing this song with my little brother
and sister, both of whom passed, but it's messsge is so real to me. God bless you all.
2018 and still listening to awesome music!

How many special people change?? To damn many :/ but it's ok this is still my jam
I agree
Scott Tomlinson 1 year later and I still agree with this comment
1 year later and 3 girls that i trusted later and you are still spot on
Advice: Girls don't like nice.
True they love assholes more lol
This song hit the start of my 2021.
Who ever listened to this in 2022, you are a legend.
"Cause people believe their gonna get away for the summer"
Been seeing a lot of this same story in welsh/manx/Irish folklore lately...even British fiction...that there are always two entities opposite of one another that share domain of thw this world.
What a beautiful music 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️ So much in love with it. 😻😻
This was the time when i grew up as teen thinking about the future. Well now im in the 40's. 🤘🏻
That solo was just LEGENDARY !
I can't believe I've just discovered this song in 2020. It's my taste of music, thank you Yerin.
Yerin Baek? She does a beautiful cover of this song. I love it so much ❤️
Thanks to Treasure's Yedam, I've learn this masterpiece. This is so good.
The 90s had some of the greatest music ever made. It's sad that a lot of the lead singers have died though :(
