This route is in my bucket list now. Punjab - Umba La - Zanskar - Shinku La - Tso Moriri - Chumathang - Leh . My next trip route plan ( June 2020 )

Now you can go Darcha to Padum direct through Sinku La pass as BORDERS ROAD Built bridge in Nov 2018 which will be open in summer 2019

Mujhe is route se jaana hai is baar. Umba La se Zanskar . Kya yeh route Mid June mein open milega .?

How much is the distance from dras to sankoo? And how much time did it take to complete the stretch?
One can reach Zanskar from Manali_Darcha via Shinkula

How does ZMR performs. I have heard that it is a better tourer than the bullet in all means.Is it really true.

Can we head back to Leh after zanskar, or we ne to head back to same route
You don't have to go back from same route from Sankoo you can go to Kargil and then Leh.

Is this road doable in an SUV/car?
when I went there were no roads many places.... this is not a very common route so being it in good shape is always a question mark. this is made operational also very late , not a high priority route.... its is doable if its been put in order .
