What a king ! Dressed like royalty here MJ always had the best swag and style . He was so beautiful here & on top of the world. Man I wish I can get on a time machine to the 80s so I can experience this wonderful man :. There will never be anyone that comes close. I see that he was very sad that beautiful day. This is because he did not come there with Diana. Broken heart. And although Brooke is so beautiful, he is sad in the general photos. He is sad, depressed, does not take off his sunglasses. Sometimes I see him swallowing tears and about to cry. In the first frames of this video, a couple of years earlier, he runs Diana with all his legs into her arms. In all the shots, when he is with her, he laughs, he is relaxed, he is infinitely happy.
When he "left" us down here on this planet, with all its tragedies, pain, suffering ain injustices I cried and cried. I mean I just could NOT STOP CRYING!!!!

Therr was never anybody (except maybe Elvis Presley) who got such amazing shows of affection from friends and fans. Those awards shows were all the more amazing because of MIchael Jackson's prescence. The 25th Motown Anniversary Awards just rocked the socks off people. I remember watching live and just being floored by Michael and his dancing. His brother's lost all hope of him ever getting back together with him after it. He still rocks all these years after with that performance.

The 80s was a magical yet odd time to live in. Now with social media, celebs are more personable but I think they lose that mystique and charm that MJ exploited to the fullest. Those dark glasses, sequinned glove and whispery voice... how I miss the 80s! Only the 80s had larger than life pop stars the likes of MJ and Prince. They were really big stars!
