Thanks for sharing! We’re Vegas locals & try to find nearby dispersed camping spots for weekend getaways while exploring Nevada. Just spent a few days near spot #2, beautiful area, awesome sunsets. Cool to see the decorated trees, drive through the mountains & hike through the petroglyphs.
Hey Charlene! Glad you found the channel! We love exploring around the area so i'm glad the video was helpful. If you have FB check out the Vegas Overlanding group, i'm one of the admins there and there are usually events going on each month to explore trails/camp around Vegas!
4:31 I had the same thing happen to my light bar. Did he roll down a 100 foot cliff into a raging river and have to be lifted out with a long robust tree branch? LOL
Dude your video editing is on point!! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.. I'm also in Vegas and I'm learning alot with ur video's of places to check out someday..👍👍👍
Awesome video!! That was a fun ride, glad I was able to join!! I didn’t know there was a little waterfall back in the trailhead, I’m gonna have to go check that out again. Have you heard of Cold Creek? That’s a cool place to explore, I could show ya a few good spots sometime if your down
I'm always down to explore! I've heard of a few guys talk about fishing at Cold Creek? Not sure if that's the same area or not though but lets definitely do this again! It was a fun ride
We were trying to go further up the mountain but the road kind of faded away and became unpassable (on the left side of the cabin is where we tried) we were suppose to turn off before the cabin but there was a gate up
Is the Overland community very active in Vegas? I'm looking to move in the next 6 months and would love to do some overlanding with my '98 K2500 6.5TD Ext Cab Long Bed. A few of the groups I found online were only jeep/wrangler clubs
I'd say its pretty active, check out Vegas Overlanding group on Facebook, or Desert Overlanding, they do meet ups, group runs. There are a ton of trails in the area and places to go summer or winter! We've moved here about 3 years ago now from Alaska and we've traveled all over, this location has been a great option for us. There is always someplace to go regardless of the weather
It looked like there were long stretches of easy dirt road, and other stretches that would be dicey for a soft roader. Were those dicey areas part of the main Christmas Tree Pass road, or were they when you went on detours?

Yeah sadly its pretty trashed out there LOTS of glass everywhere, Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing. Another fine example for RC guys like me, of what real 4x4 trailing is about.
Gotta say I dig the little Suzuki 🤗

@@NaturallyRC lol that thing was a beast! Such a cool rig, looks like its nimble enough to get pretty much anywhere!
Thanks for watching!
There is a trail that takes you to an old homestead from the 50's
Never heard of that! I'll have to look it up Thanks!
As usual, you didn't disappoint. Thanks for the tagalong.
Thank you! :)

oh if you go pass this house you can drive up the mountain to the towers

@@Kadenventures Awesome, thanks for the reply. Hope to see ya on the trail

Those dicey trails was a detour to that random cabin in the mountain lol the main Christmas Tree Pass road is easy
@@Kadenventures Thank you for the helpful reply.
@@geezerpleasers_OG Your welcome!
Can you drive a regular car on this road or only a truck or suv? Looking for a cut through to Laughlin
I think you could its not horrible but with the wash boards I dont think it would be any faster to Laughlin lol
It’s a beautiful run. Please respect our beautiful public lands. To many times you find trash , broken glass and toilet paper.
Definitely! We always leave a camp spot better than we find it
