2024 Topps Series 1 Baseball unveils the flagship style for the collecting season along with a selection of new insert lines.
Hobby boxes have one hit and Jumbo Hobby boxes contain at least one autograph among the three hits per box. There are also many different Retail formats.
In addition, Hobby boxes add one exclusive Silver Pack and Jumbo boxes have two packs.
Led by a big group of rookie cards, the base set for this release returns to its former size of 350 cards.
The neon sign-styled design features a border that switches from dark to light with a cloudy transition near the middle.
Joining many familiar editions, the First Card parallel is new this year.
Debuting on the Retail front, the Value Blaster-exclusive Holiday variations include spring-themed Eggs, Rabbit, Flowers (/50), Umbrella (/10), Watering Can (/5), and Birds (1/1) parallels.
This release also expands the run of base variations. Swapping in short-printed photos for each base card, the Golden Mirror Image Variations line is back for a second year. These come with a gold back to make it obvious for collectors.
New chases include Base Team Color Variations cards, falling once per case, and Base True Photo Variation cards that remove the flagship design entirely.
