Yeah cos it looked like he wanted to say HELL NAW but caught himself. 'Pac was a genius songwriter, but a one-note, so-so actor but definitely a star no doubt
Nah bro! That was 100% hating on Pac’s ability as an actor. He literally said “His career as a rapper wouldn’t have allowed him to become a great actor, in a sense!” Basically saying Pac wasn’t a great actor, which is bullshit bc several ppl have called him a genius when it comes to acting. He would’ve only gotten better. And in my opinion he would’ve quit rapping to solely focus on acting once he got a bit older like most ppl do. He would’ve matured and became an amazing actor! Harris here didn’t want to give Pac the Denzel comparison bc why? Then that means Pac would’ve also been better than him! That! No doubt!
except most of his movie parts weren't as good as everyone says... he was good not great... he could've improved i'm sure of that but going off of what I saw. his music career was leaps and bounds better than his movie
@Ryan H he was 24 when he died of I'm not mistaken. There was a lot left for him to grow into music and movie wise but yes his music was leaps and bounds better. That's where his soul was.
He's not wrong, it was his musical career that stopped him from becoming a great actor. Tupac had a big mouth, he would have been canceled like kanye west. I don't see Hollywood using Tupac
I love how Wood Harris speaks and communicates his thoughts. And he is a phenomenal actor. I have never been let down by any of his performances. ❤Tupac
This is how you can tell when people aren’t really as familiar as they seem. Tupac wasn’t gonna continue in music like that as an artist. His goal was movies and writing scripts, directing and production. He was planning to host be a CEO of his label, push the Outlaws and sign artists and make feature appearances. He was very vocal about all that
@@tommygunn940 those cats were extremely good and talented and they were very young and Pac would have done more to build them lyrically and words too ,they are not whacked as you have claimed
Yall do understand Pac died at 25, with already starting in 7 movies, right? lol. “Hot headed rolls” were obvious, but by no means a cap on his reach or potential. He CLEARLY showcased incredible range and how phenomenal he already was! He grew with each film and would’ve gotten more complicated rolls too. That’s where we could see age, experience and other challenges allow us to validly judge what he could do. Mf already starred in 7 movies, matching Denzel’s count before he won his first Oscar at 34.
I love this man! If I see him in the credits, I know I have to go see the movie because he doesn't partake in anything less than quality film. Classics. He's such a good dude!
Mr.Wood Harris gave his heart & soul performing in Above The Rim...I can tell...he was very believable!!!!! I actually, watch the movie the other day. Rest In Peace 2Pac❤
Wood Harris is really well spoken. Shows how good he is as an actor to play the parts he does and speak like this in an interview; I've always liked him in movies.
He couldn't have answered that Tupac Denzel question any better Big Ups to you wood he's a great actor to just quite humble real talk but that's the way to go💯
HE READ A LOT AND KNEW THE TASK TOOK CONSTANT CONTACT WITH CONVEYING THE MESSAGE TO HIS PEOPLE, PLUS HE LOVED HIS PEOPLE, WANTED MORE SUCCESSFUL ONES THAT LOOKED LIKE HIMSELF.
I love the scene in Juice, where Bishop yells "Turkey wings" twice at Steele. Tupac says Turkey wings the second time like helloooo, that's your cue😂😂😂😂
Talked about dating each other, and how they remember cars( with stems/knobs you pulled up, or pushed down to lock). Both of these men are 53 years old.
Pac said in an interview during the filming of grid lokd is that he wanted to wean himself off music and get more in to acting. So he probably would've rivaled Denzel.
Why would they need a stunt double to finish the movie? I’m old enough to remember that Above the Rim was released in March of 1994. Tupac was shot in November of 1994. Make it make sense.
What Wood Harris doesn’t know along with a lot of other ppl is that Tupac wanted to transition over to acting full time. Tupac even stated that in one of his last radio interviews. He really didn’t want to pursue music long term. Pac wanted his movie (acting) catalog to be as big as his music catalog. So yes I agree with Allen Hughes. Pac was a phenomenal actor at such a young age. He had a lot of range and versatility. Rest in peace Tupac Amaru Shakur ❤
Wood Harris doesn’t get enough credit, this dude is a great actor
He in a lot of classics too, lowkey-
The Wire, Above The Rim, Paid In Full, The Creed Movies, etc

@@CardKnockLifegot a Stan I see. Absurd to think Pac is coming close to Denzel
Pac was a natural actor I definitely could've up there with the Denzel's!!
Tupac Shakur was a PERFORMER. He would've rivaled a lot of music artists and movie stars. It was in his DNA. Just the kind of human being he was.
@Caleb we can't say that for sure tho. That's the only problem with that statement.
@Caleb that's where ur wrong. Nothing about that man was "obvious"
except most of his movie parts weren't as good as everyone says... he was good not great... he could've improved i'm sure of that but going off of what I saw. his music career was leaps and bounds better than his movie

I like how Wood kept it 100 by saying he doesn’t think he’d rival Denzel. And his reasoning was fantastic 🫡🫡
I agree w/Wood...PAC's music was SOO powerful and SOO influential. I believe it would have always had a bigger impact than his acting career.
Wood Harris is a seriously dope actor 🔥🔥
So is his Brother.

We should be giving Wood Harris is flowers dude is an amazing actor, kills every roll he touches small or big
I love you Tupac I met him one time in Los Angeles
How did it go? I met Mike Tyson before.
