Whoever is reading this, let me tell you how freaking amazing you are today. And omg let's not forget about how beautiful you are on the inside and outside. Keep being the magnificent person that you came here to be.❤❤
I know Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost the account password. I love any help you can give me!
Newbie photographer here. Like everyone else said the explanation is on point! You giving a lot of free knowledge and usually photographers don’t do that. Thank you!
I second all the suggestions calling for more "For Beginners" content! I've been booking steady castings with the headshots I took by myself following your advice - and I'm a total amateur when it comes to photography 😁 Thank you thank you!
I'm 100% self taught, and I have no idea what really any of this stuff is (I mean I know what lights and backdrops are LOL) but.. You explain things so well, and thoroughly. I just wanted to say thank you for being so helpful!
I take photos outside a lot and have only used natural light but I now have access to a studio and felt lost. This video was short and sweet but VERY informative. I feel more confident going into the studio now. Thank you for doing this.
Tommy said beginning at 5:14 he likes to "shoot in the dark to make sure there's no other light around, but the lights he is pointing at his model". I didn't hear him say if he uses the modeling lights on his strobes. Auto focus needs light to focus. Also, shooting in darkness will dilate the model's pupils. Our pupils dilate in a dark room, but they don't react fast enough to the flash of a strobe light. Dilated pupils look unnatural in photos. I'm assuming he uses the modeling lights, but I didn't hear him talk about them. Great video, thanks Tommy!
More content. There are very few POC who are photogs and even fewer that create content. Beginner vids will get you more views. Did I say MORE CONTENT. 5 months is too long.
This was extremely informational. It’s not often I find other POC that are creatives showing content of models that are POC. Please keep posting videos because this helps other photographers trying to grow in their craft. 📸✊🏾
Thank you! I just purchased the Sony A7iii & the 85mm 1.8 & I have been trying to figure out which lighting to use in studio- So your video is a GOD SEND for real! Thank you for your advice. Subscribing to your channel NOW!!!
Your tips worked so well. I went up stairs and set up my lighting and camera and took pictures of myself and they came out great. Keep the videos coming. Thank you
@@Tommy4k hello there I came across your RUclips channel and I love the fact that your using the same studio strobes that I use Alien bees and your absolutely correct those lights will work forever and I’ve also got an Alien bee ABR800 ring light and that ring light is a beast and also a workhorse. Keep up the awesome amazing photography work, and also keep these informative video tutorials coming. Oh and I am also a Professional Photographer located in New Orleans. And now I am a fan of your and your model’s work. I just started following you and her on instagram. God bless you both. And you can find me on instagram @leonardmclendon
Thanks for the video but some kin part was skipped that's the part where you took the photo with the settings u mentioned without turning off the light and without the reflector
"Imma show you how you can make it softer... Or harder.." bwahahahaha 😂😂😂 way to commit to finishing the statement. I still laugh at describing the "hardness" of light! 🤷🏾♂️
So i just picked up some backdrops with widths of about 5 ft only. I didnt have access to wider ones due to geographical limitations. Is it possible to do full length portraits with that size of backdrop? I'm just getting into commercial fashion photography and i would appreciate some input. thanks bruh
Hey can you do a video on what you did when you were a beginner photographer and didn’t have a studio? Where would you take your clients if they wanted an indoor shoot
This would be really helpful! I am a boutique owner just starting out and I use areas inside my house for the photos. I need recommendations for lighting equipment (beginner)

So i just picked up some backdrops with widths of about 5 ft only. I didnt have access to wider ones due to geographical limitations. Is it possible to do full length portraits with that size of backdrop? I'm just getting into commercial fashion photography and i would appreciate some input. thanks bruh
yes it is tough but it is possible, you would have to edit the rest of the backdrop to make it wider
Hey can you do a video on what you did when you were a beginner photographer and didn’t have a studio? Where would you take your clients if they wanted an indoor shoot
yes I might do a Q&A because this is a good question
This would be really helpful! I am a boutique owner just starting out and I use areas inside my house for the photos. I need recommendations for lighting equipment (beginner)

Do you have a video editing. How do you achieve that glow skin and image?
