Skeleton Crew could have been the greatest show put out since Game of Thrones in it's prime, and it still wouldn't matter. The damage done to this brand is too far gone. To put it simply, nobody gives a single damn about Star Wars anymore. It's in the exact same boat as Doctor Who or the likes of Star Trek or most mainstream comic books from the likes of Marvel or DC. Complete and total apathy. We have reached the stage now where people cannot bring themselves to muster any sort of emotion for these brands anymore, good or ill. Their just over it, and I really can't blame them.
Skeleton Crew on it own to me has been fine. I've been enjoying it so far but its definitely better than what the acolyte showed. Lucasfilm has been doing this "force is female" doctrine has been a cancer since day one. Not something we fans wanted to see. Skeleton Crew didn't seem to have that going since it has that vibe of the good old goony days if you know what I mean. With Kathleen Kennedy in charge, she has damaged the brand pretty badly and she needs to go. She made John Boyega and his character in the sequels look like a joke and it was just wrong to see. I thought he'd be a character that would show "A New Hope" but obviously not. Fans don't want to see anymore of these Disney characters made by Kathleen Kennedy in any of the projects and I would agree. We all wanted to see stories that on familiar territory that we all can relate and that has not ever happened since day one. With the way Lucasfilm is at, I don't want them doing shit at this point at all. Until they learn from us fans, They need to sit out in a corner and look over the original "source material" that George made.
Skeleton Crew is "meh" entertainment value, at best. The attention wasn't for Star Wars, it was for the people reporting on Disney self-assploding everywhere.
@@olivertwist2843 Tell that to all the SW toys gathering dust at Ollie's. Their shelves are filled to the brim and marked down to oblivion in hopes of getting rid of them. Any more, and the merch is heading to the landfill.
At this point, doing a movie focused around the Death Sticks guy from Attack of the Clones about his life after his brief encounter with Obi-Wan in the bar probably would hold higher levels of interest with people than another film about Palpatine's Mary-Sue granddaughter.
I stopped watching any of their crap good or bad after the Sequels killed off all the Skywalkers, turned their whole legacy into one sad big joke, and had Palpatine's granddaughter take all their accomplishments (and name) for herself. No matter what happens, within Disney canon, all roads lead to Jake Skywalker and Rey Palpatine. So again, what's even the damn point of investing into anything?
For anyone wondering, this cycle is on its second go around. First cycle was Mando-BOBF-Andor then repeated with Ahsoka-Acolyte-Skeleton Crew. Andor season 2 will start the cycle anew
@@PortugueseBadman Honestly the damage was made enough with the Sequels. Even ignoring all the numerous problems wrong with the Obi-Wan show, I just ask myself: Why, after the Sequels completely made both Luke and Anakin's stories completely and totally meaningless in the grand scheme of things, just to retcon Rey as the real saviour of it all, why should I give a damn about Obi-Wan or his duty to protect and set Luke on his Jedi path or anything he did beforehand training Anakin? Anakin ultimately died for nothing in the end as Palpatine just survived and rebuilt back his Empire through the First Order, and Luke gave up on everything including on trying to rebuild the Jedi Order. Obi-Wan basically wasted almost his whole life training two complete failures that accomplished nothing in the end. This is the overreaching damage the Sequels have done to the entire Star Wars story and it's characters throughout. This is exactly the reason I never cared about Luke as everyone remembered him showing up all badass at the end of season 2 of Mando cause all I could think about when seeing him was: ''Oh, hey look it's the guy that tried to murder his own nephew in his sleep over one bad dream and then ran away like a coward to wallow in his own self-pity and failure as the galaxy burns all around him!''
Maybe they need to start adapting comics into long massive tv shows and into a movie here and there I’m Not hardcore Star Wars fans like most here but I know that the comics are very well received
I rate Solo higher than any of the Sequel trilogy. It's far from stellar, but I'll always appreciate their little nod to Han shooting first at the end.
The sad thing is that the show isn’t even that bad, it’s perfectly serviceable to either new or old fans. Nothing perfect or amazing but it’s a slightly better step to the right direction after many of the mediocre/bad shows and projects we had besides some exceptions.
Nobody cares tho, nobody wanted a show like this .. We are customers / consumers, you cant just do what you want ignoring your paying customers and expect different…Its not a good step in the right direction, Disney just continues to invest money into products that none of their customers are asking for, and the viewership is screaming exactly that.
@ I mean, I want to agree with you. I myself was outraged how many lore stuff the Star Wars projects have been ignoring and ruined. And even I was at first doubtful over skeleton crew, but In the end, I thought it was a perfectly simple show. With its own little story that doesn’t need to be aligned with anything. But sure, could have been better. But at least it’s not ruining anything
I want to watch Star Wars. But not Disney Star Wars. Not under Kathleen Kennedy and all of her political Activist minions. I want a continuation of the Expanded Universe. Thats all i care about at this moment. Without the woke nonsense. But i know it will never happen, so i will just watch episode 1-6 and read the EU and play some older games
SW is not relevant anymore. The majority of diehards have moved on and they aren't creating any new fans like other IPs. Its a bitter pill to swallow but it is what it is. Hung out with my young 10 year old nephew the other day to check out what he watches. When I asked him about SW he didn't even know what it was. His exact response was "Is that the spaceship thing that was cool once?". It hurt me to hear that as I was SW obsessed when I was that age. For me its not even a SW issue anymore but moreso a Disney issue. I'm just over Disney in general at this point and will not be supporting that brand for the foreseeable future.
The lack of interest in SW among kids these days is the complete opposite from what I remember 10-15 years ago, it’s very rare for me to see kids playing with lightsabers and dressing as characters for Halloween and stuff nowadays, and none of my nephews or nieces care at all for SW, wasn’t like that back then, I’ve just moved on as well and gotten into other things
Only Star Wars I still even bother with is the old LucasArts games (which a lot of them have been getting recent remasters for like Dark Forces, Bounty Hunter, and the upcoming Episode I: Jedi Power Battles) and a couple of the EU Dark Horse comic books from back in the day. But to be brutally honest, I find myself enjoying them on a purely normie levels of investment. Nowhere near the passion I would have once had years ago. Even the Original Trilogy does really nothing for me now. It if anything kind of just bores me now.
So true man. They tried to capture new fans by doing things that alienated the old fans and ended up getting neither. They did it to themselves. If they had appealed to the OG fans from the start this wouldn’t have happened.
I don't care about Star Wars anymore. You are pretty much the only Star Wars related content that I watch. And Star Wars used to be a HUGE part of my life. The amount of time and money I spent on this IP is crazy. And now I genuinely don't care.
I'm the same way. I never saw the blood in the water when Disney purchased Lucasfilm; I was just so happy and excited for more Star Wars. Dressed up as a Stormtrooper for TFA premiere, took my family and friends (multiple times), happily buying merchandise. I went from that to telling people not to watch Rise of Skywalker, I didn't even bother watching the Acolyte and I won't bother watching Skeleton Crew either.
Same. I invest my time and money into only LOTR and One Piece these days. The Sequel Trilogy, TBOBF, and Kenobi were Strikes 1, 2, and 3 for me. They butchered my favorite childhood characters, besides Jango and Qui-Gon, who they luckily can’t touch because Lucas killed them off at the right time before Disney took over. Why should I care about Mid Djarin, a tiny green muppet who is only there to attract kids and casuals, Bo Karen, Sabine “Rey 2.0” Ren, Ahsoka the Wooden, Papa Thrawn Smurf, and the rest after they butchered the OG’s into oblivion? Not only that, but they’ve thrown my favorite Star Wars actors like Temuera Morrison, Ray Park, Gina Carano, Jim Cummings, and others completely under the bus. Temuera called them out on the terrible writing in The Book of Boba, and now they’ve ghosted him ever since. I’m done, and millions of others are as well. Haven’t bought any Star Wars merchandise in over 2 years now.
I remember back 11 - 15 years ago when I was in high school/college me and some friends would cosplay as the strom tropper for fun. We liked Star Wars much more with only 6 movies and the comic books and when it was still a mystery and unknown to everyone. Now Disney doesn't care about the lore, timeline, family names or the product. So why should I, Disney massacred Star Wars and there's nothing special to go back to any more.
The great irony is that out of all the Star Wars D+ shows, Skeleton Crew feels the most like something Lucas would have greenlit if he were still calling the shots at Lucasfilm
The parallels work here absolutely. Which is a shame because both Solo and Skeleton crew are awesome, separate pieces that work well for what they are.
This is the result of several years of disappointment and accusations and labeling of fans for not liking their product, ultimately just denial on their part, so fans tell themselves that there is very little chance that the next product will be good because Disney ultimately doesn't care, as the old saying goes, when you get burned too many times.
The only things ive been interested in since Disney took over is Andor and Rogue One because its called Star WARS. Every single battle we get in anything is a handful of battle throw into a little location. I miss the large scale battles. Star WARS should have WARS
@@JustMe-om2dk That's complete cap on your part, Andor has good and interesting story, characters, and most of all heart. You look at the acolytes and its literally a meme in every episode.
I might be one to disagree on that, but I respect that most fans kinda like it. It's nice that things are calmer now LOL, and I still think Acolyte wasn't as BAD as ppl like Theory think it was. Skelteon crew might be better written/directed, but for the style/kiddy nature of it isn't for me. Also, the asthetics of it feels off for Star Wars, can't really explain why (Maybe their version of Old Republic isn't like what I thought). Anyways, hope thing are on the way up with Andor coming up XD.
@@ernestmuric6719 Because people like you don't actually know that Star Wars isn't about Andor any more than it is about The Acolyte, and the grifter channels on RUclips have made negativity the "new cool"?

Absolutely, hold her accountable for the cornucopia of boneheaded decisions and lack of planning. Gives us a gesture that you actually want to fix things Disney. If I fucked up my job as hard as Kathleen Kennedy did I would never keep my job even with my previous good history
Firing her would do nothing man I honestly don’t gaf if she’s fired or contracted for another 10 years. Star Wars for me in general has dwindled and it would take a project of epic proportions to get me even a little bit hyped like I was during the force awakens anticipation
Can't say I'm surprised. It's Solo all over again and, much like Skeleton Crew, I'm sure it deserves better. Too bad I've seen this franchise burn bridges one too many times.
After the acolytes, assoka, booba fett, hell all the Disney Star Wars content apart from Andor why would anyone want to waste their HARD earn money on a franchise that only get 7% of the product right ?
@@kimrasmussen7188 As far as Disney content is concerned, Solo was still top tier, which honestly isn't saying much but still. I enjoyed watching it once at home but I haven't been back to see it again, unlike say Rogue One. SW needs to adapt . They need to make SW more adult . More serious . They also need to revitalize the Jedi back to being these near mythical monk / warriors .
@AverageJoe483 That last sentence is so true. But for that we have to go back to Old Republic Era content and EU and lord knows they would retconn that and butcher it.

@@daniellachance3240 Which is fine and justifiable - but not when they then make comments about a show that they've not watched based on grifter RUclipsrs.
Correct on the Solo parallel. I had seen every Star Wars movie in theaters the first day since the A New Hope Special Edition. Solo was the first one I missed. It wasn't due to Solo, but The Last Jedi. When I finally saw Solo on streaming, I thought it was fairly decent.
Agreed the OT and the prequels have their fanbase there is no new fanbase. My boys could care less except for Mando season 1, The clone wars and maybe Rogue 1 other than that we haven't really enjoyed a Star Wars project other than some video games. Kids just aren't as invested in it as we were and there is so much entertainment out there now that if your not wowing people it won't gain traction at all.
Which is why this show is a lot more important than others. SW was aimed at 12 year olds, but was good enough to entertain adults and engage with individuals in a way that lasted most of their lives. The last trilogy was a joke. Not because it trashed characters we love, but because it didn't even work as a narrative in itself, while attempting to play the memberberry game. It was a mess that wasn't going to please older fans or engage with many new ones. Rogue One was a great film, and could just about be enjoyed by whole families, and was a decent way to get new fans into the franchise, but Andor was not suitable for children. Acolyte was drivel coupled to the most toxic publicity I've ever seen - pushing away fans and with a star who could barely act well enough for an advert for that bloody game that is constantly been marketed on RUclips. Kenobe was aimed at existing fans, but then upset them by deciding to concentrate on other characters instead - while creating something that wasn't really going to draw in new fans of any age. The animated stuff has been pretty solid, but only a certain percentage of viewers will ever engage with anything animated. Skeleton Crew is an absolute return to form. It is aimed at the original demographic. It is well-written and acted. It has the right amount of heart. It is exactly the show that the franchise needed to bring in the next generation of fans, while pleasing the existing ones. People talk about not wanting "Goonies in space". A small reminder is that these Amblin films are still remembered not because they were really good, and were exactly what the target demographic enjoyed. It is insane seeing grifters encouraging people to believe that going back to creating quality entertainment for the target audience is a bad thing. It is also feeding Disney's narrative that the fans are toxic, unreasonable, and impossible to please. These people are as much of a problem as KK.
@BritishRedCoat2025 if this show was more important than others it didn't work. Hence why it has the lowest viewership of all other shows. They need a new trilogy that is close to George's vision . Those movies made fans of every age and people all over the world. Star Wars is bigger than one series and acting like this is some game breaking story of SW is just silly. Is it better than the acolyte of course but it's not close to Mando season one and two.
My personal opinion on the viewership is that this show is made for children, a lot of young adults and teenagers aren't really interested in a pg type show, most would rather watch creature commandos or the penguin something with a rating of TV 14 or rated R
Solo didn't fail directly because of TLJ. Solo wasn't what the audience wanted and the budget was over 400 million. Same thing here. No one wanted a Star Wars Goonies. Lucasfilm is clueless at this point making anything and hoping something clicks.
They took a hammer to the Star Wars fandom, and this is what you get. Kathleen Kennedy should've been sacked the second she said that Star Wars had no canon. A clearer signal of disrespect to a GIANT fandom could not have been given.
They need to stop spamming out content. Star Wars did really well with slow paced release that allowed careful work to be done. They lost our trust with rushed, poorly written, poorly filmed, bad cgi, bad fight choreography, pointless/bad changes to established lore. Raw greed and impatience killed it
Disney is an easy fix. Heres how guys... show us an Old Republic story with Malgus, A Revan Story, a Plagius training Sidious Story, with Star Wars Directors who care about the lore. Voillaaaa there we go thats not so hard is it??!!
No they shouldn’t do that. They killed the eu for creative freedom which they have done nothing with besides making things like the acolyte and stealing from the stories they killed and Disneyfying them. They should just keep making their original stories and losing money, it’s what they deserve rather then ruining more of the eu.
Unfortunate, because the sequels werent recieved well they lost a new generation of parents and kids. People just dont care anymore because of so many misses. Teens, kids, just dont care about it. They rather watch one piece. I honestly think the fandom for star wars was once mainstream is now a smaller niche, thats the reality. Perhaps its better as books and videogames? Shame
How is adapting an Old Movie and wearing a Star wars skin Star wars? It's literally nothing but copy and pasting Goonies and wearing a Star Wars Skin Suit. It being Star Wars does nothing to the story and changes zero character motivations or anything. If it wasn't Star Wars nothing in the show would be affected or change but a few very minor lines and easter eggs.
@@griswoldclark6835 How does it not feel like Star Wars? There is a Force User, Lightsabers, space ships, adventures, talks of legends, and an unlikely group needing to work together. It's exactly like OG Star Wars.
@@danielkissgremsperger3242 Nope. Only kid theme there is the Ewoks and no kid cared about them. Just Lucus's head Cope for making a mistake with the tone of the last movie. The sad thing is that Star Wars fans are no longer fans. It's no longer about anger or dissatisfaction with the franchise. It's worse. It's about apathy. Simply put, no one cares any more.
Disney killed the brand. Nobody trusts disney anymore, and they certainly don't trust them with our fav characters. Even if they created a new show featuring Luke I would not be interested because we all know how Disney universe Luke ends up. If they want to have any hope of bringing the fans back they need to clean house and start fresh by erasing everything disney has done in the last decade from canon. Its the only way to save Star Wars.
For me to be interested again they would have to apologize and recognize what they have done and scrap everything disney has made. Unfortunately they ruined the only chance they had with the original cast.
I love watching Skeleton Crew it’s a fun show and each week I can’t wait for the next episode just like when The Mandalorian first aired. I hope that the viewership goes up once the last episode is released and that a lot of people are just waiting to binge watch it.
So maybe the big bad nasty Star Wars RUclipsrs weren't responsible for getting Acolyte canceled after all, maybe it was just Disney destroying the average fans desire for Star Wars
Yup. Been out since the end of Mando. Hyped myself up, was thinking "Oh they finally read the comics they're going to set things up!" And it was just a reset for mando back to season 1 so they can make a movie with a clean slate no continuing Story from Season 3. Utter trash. Lost faith in Dave and the entire franchise since.
@achaudhari101 "Unfounded "? Um, no. He was involved in Kenobi, Acolyte and had full control over Asshoka. He's a hack that only did ok with Clone Wars because Lucas was guiding him.
Honestly am waiting for the whole season to come out and be reviewed before seeing if its worth a watch. Sw Theory seems to be enjoying it so its probably worth a watch.
I think at this point the only thing disney can do is forfeit lucasfilm to someone who cares more about the lore. They've done enough damage to were I think if it has the disney name attached people have a preconceived notion that it will suck.
if you think the writing in skeleton crew is good, then you clearly dont know what good writing looks like. the show isnt bad, buts its aggressively mediocre. problem is dumb people are so starved for star wars thats not total garbage that the moment disney makes something close to average they jump on it like a female dog in heat and stan for it as if its the next empire strikes back... soooo many dumb people defend this show as a 9/10, but when you ask them why its always dumb low IQ surface level stuff. then they get really mad when you start to completely destroy skeleton crew by pointing out everything that makes no sense in universe or how the entire show only "works" because its riddled with plot conveniences.
Marvel died after Endgame. Indiana Jones died after last Crusade. Star Wars died with Rogue One. One good Animation every 5 years, all the rest is nostalgia marketing.
This is a really good thing, one Disney knows they can’t win no matter what they do with Star Wars, they will understand what they must do. It all starts and ends with the bad faith sequels. Reboot or perish.
At least I can confidently say, The Last Jedi is the worse title. Worse than Solo, Worse than Acolyte, Worse than Skeleton Crew, Worse than Everything that they’ve done.
Personally I love Skeleton Crew. For me one of the best Star Wars projects and I am almost 50 years of age. I also believe Acolyte was the nail in the coffin, but many projects before like Ahsoka were very disappointing. Many people didn't watch Rebels and now had to watch a mostly boring and badly edited season 5 of it. Skeleton Crew should have been a 2 hour movie on Disney+. Almost all shows, like Ahsoka, Obi-Wan or even Acolyte are actually movies, cut into short but still overlong pieces and not serialized. If it was me, I would take alle these shows and give it to a capable person to reedit them into movies.
It's because Disney messed up to many times, Disney does NOT care about Star Wars and it shows. They don't care, they never did. They took advantage of people and left with their money. The only good thing that came out of Disney plus was Andor, I would say the Mandalorian, but then they made the 3rd season and brought Grogu back in a different show 😂. I am a die hard Star Wars fan, but... I'm getting tired of new Star Wars, I'm getting tired of mediocrity, I'm getting tired of failure, I'm tired of arguing, I'm tired of defending. I can't enjoy this new stuff, I don't want to watch it anymore. I will always love the first 6 movies, Rogue one, Andor, and the clone wars, but other than that, to me at least, everything else is dead. Disney does not care about you, or what you think. "Consume product and get excited for next product"
@danielkissgremsperger3242 a show whos main characters are 4 pre-teen kids is meant for...? I mean unless you're into that sort of thing I'm not judging. Oh the ratings back it up.

"...you can't have a major character like that that's not a deep fake." Translation: "I'm financially invested in deep fake technology, please don't make me divest, I'll face a massive penalty."
There's a lot of apathy now. The Last Jedi was the main catalyst, although TFA was also a weak re-hash of ANH. That terrible offering and its treatment of Luke Skywalker led to this: - having Luke a hermit and then throwing away his lightsaber - Luke milking a tittie - Luke getting beats from Rey - poor storytelling - lack of a solid plan for the Trilogy - complete denial from KK, JJ and RJ and then belittling paying fans. - etc etc. Although the Mandalorian brought some solace for Star Wars for a short while, the reality is that the ST was a mockery. It's a shame people do not Skeleton Crew, i think it's good as a family show, bit not surprised with the low viewership as there is a lot of apathy and cynicism towards Lucasfilm. They have a lot of work to do to salvage the audiences.
Don’t think its Star Wars or the Skeleton Crew, I believe it’s Disney subscriptions have fallen off the ledge in general. Disney are not being honest on there earnings calls. Meaning all Disney + content is not registering viewerships on Nelson ratings.

Maybe they need to start adapting comics into long massive tv shows and into a movie here and there I’m
Not hardcore Star Wars fans like most here but I know that the comics are very well received
@@benjaminrowleyI think Disney should just sell Star Wars to people whom actually care.
Last Jedi did the same to Solo. Acolyte did this to Skeleton Crew
Solo was still hot garbage if we're being honest. But yes it may have done better not following off that other film.
Nahhh, pleasee explajn why u hated solo@andym1134
I agree that Solo wasn’t good and all over the place.
@@andym1134 nope.
I rate Solo higher than any of the Sequel trilogy. It's far from stellar, but I'll always appreciate their little nod to Han shooting first at the end.
It's too late now... They've burned every bridge and all the good will anyone has.

People don’t wanna watch SW anymore. It is dead and it is Killer Kennedy and Disney’s fault.
Facts.
Pretty much.
this is not star wars, its too far from it its completly different, we WANT star wars
not just starwars either, its Disney plus, no one wants it unless you have kids for Bluey, which is the only thing keeping Disney plus from bankruptcy
Same. Universal all the way.
So true man.
They tried to capture new fans by doing things that alienated the old fans and ended up getting neither.
They did it to themselves.
If they had appealed to the OG fans from the start this wouldn’t have happened.
@@death-king1834 sounds like you were always a casual fan.
I feel the same.
Same, same. I just don't give a shit.
The great irony is that out of all the Star Wars D+ shows, Skeleton Crew feels the most like something Lucas would have greenlit if he were still calling the shots at Lucasfilm
“Apathy is Death” was the perfect quote to sum up this ratings situation: KOTOR 1 and 2 were so freaking good 👏🏼
At least the rotting corpse feeds the beasts and insects
“Skeleton Crew” is getting the “Solo: A SW Story” treatment post “Acolyte,” the spiritual successor to “The Last Jedi.”
Very true.
The parallels work here absolutely. Which is a shame because both Solo and Skeleton crew are awesome, separate pieces that work well for what they are.
We've been saying "hopefully they've learned their lesson" now for the last 9 years. The only change I will take seriously is a change in leadership.
“You can shave a Wookiee many times, but only skin it once.”

Why is it lower in ratings?
That's not exactly a high bar to set. In any case, it doesn't matter. The ratings are in the toilet due to the damage done to this franchise overall.

More adult? I don't know about that. If you mean like OG Trilogy adult sure. But Andor adult? It will fall off even worse then it is now.

@@refugeehugsforfree4151 So you've not watched it, don't know about it, yet comment on it?
Disney did it to themselves… time for Disney to overhaul their SW administration
Solo didn't fail directly because of TLJ. Solo wasn't what the audience wanted and the budget was over 400 million. Same thing here. No one wanted a Star Wars Goonies. Lucasfilm is clueless at this point making anything and hoping something clicks.
No one wanted a lot of things in history. Doesn’t mean we should prevent it from happening.
Nah they’ll find a way to ruin that too!
Not while all those progressive jackasses are at Disney Lucasfilm. Those projects will never stand a chance.
No they shouldn’t do that. They killed the eu for creative freedom which they have done nothing with besides making things like the acolyte and stealing from the stories they killed and Disneyfying them. They should just keep making their original stories and losing money, it’s what they deserve rather then ruining more of the eu.
Firing KK and putting someone who cares in charge would instantly fix so much stuff.
well Acolite was supposed to be a Plagueis story too look what happened, now they gonna screw the old republic they ruined a lot
I have to admit I am one of those people who have given up on new stuff and haven't given this show a try
Shame

Kinda annoying how good writing mostly leads to poor viewership nowadays. Mainstream audiences are very frustrating.
if you think the writing in skeleton crew is good, then you clearly dont know what good writing looks like. the show isnt bad, buts its aggressively mediocre. problem is dumb people are so starved for star wars thats not total garbage that the moment disney makes something close to average they jump on it like a female dog in heat and stan for it as if its the next empire strikes back... soooo many dumb people defend this show as a 9/10, but when you ask them why its always dumb low IQ surface level stuff. then they get really mad when you start to completely destroy skeleton crew by pointing out everything that makes no sense in universe or how the entire show only "works" because its riddled with plot conveniences.
No one wants Star Wars Goonies.
Unoriginal Trash.
Marvel died after Endgame. Indiana Jones died after last Crusade. Star Wars died with Rogue One. One good Animation every 5 years, all the rest is nostalgia marketing.
Did they release the actual numbers?
What do you like about it?
I agree.
Thank you guys for talking about this! Looking forward to more star wars hope it is able to get better.

@tafynotmanzo7354 so just because the main characters are children it must be a childs show??? It is not okay to buy lego if you are an adult? You know disney is basically for children, you know even Lucas said star wars is for children?? Im sorry that you cannot enjoy a good show that is literarly for the children inside you...
@danielkissgremsperger3242 Yes.
Are you stupid?
"...you can't have a major character like that that's not a deep fake."
Translation: "I'm financially invested in deep fake technology, please don't make me divest, I'll face a massive penalty."
😊
It’s so sad SC a good show
There's a lot of apathy now. The Last Jedi was the main catalyst, although TFA was also a weak re-hash of ANH. That terrible offering and its treatment of Luke Skywalker led to this:
- having Luke a hermit and then throwing away his lightsaber
- Luke milking a tittie
- Luke getting beats from Rey
- poor storytelling
- lack of a solid plan for the Trilogy
- complete denial from KK, JJ and RJ and then belittling paying fans.
Disney should have hired fans. Bad Star Wars media often lacks passion and viewers can tell.
They did, and these fans made Skeleton Crew. Sadly, it came out after Sackoshyte.
Don’t think its Star Wars or the Skeleton Crew, I believe it’s Disney subscriptions have fallen off the ledge in general. Disney are not being honest on there earnings calls. Meaning all Disney + content is not registering viewerships on Nelson ratings.
i waited to watch it until some reviews, but will start this week so I can binge them :D
There are things Disney can do about this. It's a great show, they need to put the first two episodes out there to get people hooked.
skeleton crew is even more boring than the acolyte imho.
Skeleton Crew is a breath of fresh air after the Acolyte.
This series is really good. I really like this. ❤
Disney killed Star Wars. Sell it back to Lucas.
Poor Skeleton Crew, it has to pay the broken plates for the Acolyte.
IT really is a good charming show
You care less when someone who tells you you're shit for having a logical opinion, no matter how many times you stand your ground with respect. By then, the harm is done an no one cares anymore
Shame, because this is the best piece of starwars content I've seen in a long time.
