if I start with/get an early death cert I always go sacred orb over glitched crown tbh. I dont like doing the pause strat for a whole run and also I dont like straight up losing items if I have to choose between 2 good ones

Yeah but cancer is just an amazing item. It’s like picking up wafer over a rosary. Yeah the rosary is good and gives dps but the wafer gives near unrivaled protection

It's kinda late, but still, when you dupe the glitched crown items you get 10 + 2 + 10 + 2 that you already have, but if you use suicide King twice you get 12 + 12 items, ik theese 4 items are not the biggest networth, but in secret room pool it's kinda worth dying
In case you don't get what i'm talking about - duping the glitched crown pedestal makes another pedestal with that one item + 5 other, so duped pedestals will Make 2 similar items + 10 random items in roll, but duping the sk will give you another 2 pedestals with 6 items, 6 > 5

Those can be used to spawn items in Secret Rooms and if you're lucky you'll find a secret room with a reroll machine in it. The game doesn't usually give you freebies, but it will give you opportunities if you know what to look for

Tears have much better synergies than other projectiles (except maybe c section) Inf2 is the very lackluster compared to other quality 4 items, and chose to protect perfection considering future synergies Euthanasia is much much better with the aforementioned perfection, has a chance to instantly kill things and deal Heavy Damage to bosses
Ultra secret room is never adjacent to any room(including secret rooms) and is always one room apart. It has higher chance to spawn near special room(this I’m not so sure) Haven’t played Issac in months so I might have gotten part wrong

Farming items give you more fun and better results 80% of the time or sacred heart if you want a free win considering you’re taking rock bottom. All these options are better then waiting for a synergy to happen with rock bottom
idk if Im allowed to say this but in a Sinvicta video he started with death certificate but he waited to use it because he wanted to know what kind of run he was gonna have. because rock bottom sacred heart or some hard carry item would be the first choice immediately after getting it so i think it's smart for any issac players to wait like he did so you'll enjoy your run more with a smart choice instead of a rushed choice

I know there are mods and exploits but i like a fair game. Mods and whatnot make the game more interesting but I'm a straightforward kind of guy ya know?

16:47 lead pencil + flat stone is a really good synergy, the shots created by lead pencil keep bouncing and get really far range

I don't like glitched crown very much bc it feels painful when there's multiple items in one group and you miss out on other good items

Why not goat head duality at start? 2/3 guppy is worse than all angel items
But full guppy is pretty great. Also there are many bad angel items. And he could only get one angel item per room, while multiple devil items.
This could have been a way better run but so many objectively bad decisions
