This is a great demonstration. Thanks so much. Very helpful and detailed.
Very helpful! Thanks! Just need to see the knot a bit closer...Not sure I know how but will try a few times and watch your videos again many times. Lol
The Knot is a Truckers Hitch this version is tied with a loop in the line. Ive also seen it tied with a slip knot. It's a handy knot to know. It's also good for a Ridgeline for pitching tarps when camping.
Came for the answers leaving with a question what is this song playing throughout the video?
Great video!
Awesome! I just need a roof rack haha
What is the black piece connected to the strap in the hood
What kind of string did you use?
What is thing called that going under the hood
Is there sound?
Can 2 kayaks be strapped down to a car roof with this method?
☝🏼 ???
@@ariasirz2134 I mean, if the car can fit them, or do you mean like stack them?
is it necessary to attach it to the hood and trunk or will the straps be enough
its good to so the wing doesnt pick it up. There should be a spot in the car chassis under the hood to hook too. If not you can tie a rope do you can connect it to that.
Do you have to tie down the front if the kayak is shorter?
Ideally!
What length should I buy for a strap?
i saw another video that said 15' should do the job
Does this method works with the Soft Roof Rails too ?
did u find an answer
To remove the kayak, do you have to cut the line? I can't see untying that.
I will never understand why the wind doesn't rip the whole thing off.
…straps?
Physics.
