I feel at home in the Middle East. Some factors have prevented a permanent move there, but it doesn't mean that it won't happen. My goals are still coming to frutition and will only benefit me in the long run. A professor of mine would always say "While the path remains the same, the view will change many times before we get to the end". Thank you for taking us along on your trip and that you had a great time (minus the phone). I bet Moo will be so excited to see you!

So happy to hear of your experiences in the UK (minus the whole phone issue. :( That sucks!). Would love to move there but am obsessed with a dog breed that they won't allow, so only visits for me! I am glad you were able to do a lecture and hope you built confidence as a lecturer and in validating your research! I am trying to remember - did any of your prior videos discuss studying abroad in general - things to know, how to plan, how to convince your parents that it's a good thing (so I can counter it when my son tries to study in Sweden! Ha, ha!). Just curious for him - he has a medical condition that I think might cause issues with a long-term SA - we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, I guess. Thank you for all you do! Love your footage and your perspective!

How do teaching requirements work in your program, for those who move to live near archives?
Could you talk about how to turn a term paper into something publishable? I feel like my term papers aren’t “elevated” enough to be worthy of publication 😕 but I’m not sure tbh.
Hi! Can you please explain to someone who is considering doing a PhD how you could move so far away while doing it? Does Yale allow that after the completion of your exams? This is super interesting to me!
Hi! As someone who is in their PhD, in Italy we are expected to spend at least a semester abroad, if not a full year. In some programs, you can ask to the program to transfer you for a double degree, and then you finish elsewhere. If you want a very International experience, you should see if there are Marie Sklodowska Curie scholarships,where you do your PhD in two unis across Europe
