This is what many of us are missing. That sense of wonder and awe that stirs up the ever elusive feeling of gratefulness. The power of perception and belief are so misunderstood. We settle for approximations of reality that we can only appreciate with limited senses. Mad respect to you on your journey. 👊🏿

I absolutely love the way you film your videos - I love the fish eye lens and the dark though vibrant colours, and how they clash with your yellow subtitles.

I LOVE the walking videos: it feels like I'm walking along, chatting and hanging with a friend... and we get to see the streets, the signs, the cute building entrances, how everything looks so clean and tidy. Thank you for taking us along! 🤗 🥰 🏔️

I like to watch your video and learning English!
I live in Tokyo over 15years.
And I like nature around Tokyo too.
I absolutely recommend Nagano prefecture, especially Kamikochi region.
You can go there by train plus bus from Shinjuku.
But you have to stay one night at Matsumoto to go there from morning because it takes around 4 hours from Shinjuku.
Nagano has the deepest nature in Japan. lots of nice view you can see.
    But Kamikochi is next level.
If you like beautiful mountains and cristal river, you should go👍

    My nature trip recommendation:
    Nikko!
It‘s an about two hour trip from Asakusa. Therefore I woke up at 5 a.m. and took the 7 a.m. train, when I visited in March 2023.
It‘s a small city, known for Yube - that‘s the skin that forms when you boil soy milk. Priests used to use this as their main protein, as the mountain region doesn’t provide the best circumstances for keeping livestock.
From Nikko City we took a about 40 minute bus, up to the mountain - it was shockingly beautiful. There is a big waterfall, over 100 meters deep, an expansive lake with a beautiful view and some bright red Torii gates. Many temples and shrines are located up there, too, which you can visit by taking the local bus. It was a beautiful day trip.
My description doesn’t even come close to the actual beautiful experiences we made. 楽しんで下さいね

i feel super inspired when i watch your videos. that feeling of being in awe at your surroundings and just how lucky you are to experience that moment is a feeling i can relate to so much, but often forget about when i'm stuck in the hum-drum of day-to-day life, so thank you for reminding me of those special moments and that that feeling still exists and i will experience it again, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. i just found out today that i'm going to be moving to spain, a country and culture i love, at 28 years old, so i can't wait for the adventure that's about to come!

I look forward to more of your videos about your journey in Japan. ❤

Very smart to observe Fuji from afar rather than climb it!
The forest you were in looks like Aokigahara, which is sadly famous for suicides but a very mystical and magical place.

f you want to stay in Tokyo, Okutama has many good trails, too. I recommend Mitake (mountain and shrine) and Otake mountains. Between the two mountains, there is waterfall and a natural rock garden along a river. If you start from Mitake Station, you can finish near Okutama Station, where there is a nice onsen and craft beer, too. It can be done in a day.
Also, Kumonotori - the highest peak in Tokyo but it usually requires an overnight.
If you want to venture further afield, and you'll need more than a day, but Yatsugatake in Nagano has some great mountains to hike. There are many mountain huts to stay at but they can get busy especially on weekends. The closest station is Chino. It's on the Chuo Line from Shinjuku about 3 hours (or a limited express for 2 hours). There was a Japanese movie from last year, Evil does not exist. A lot of it was filmed in the Yatsugatake area.
