sorry to bother you can you react this music look up at the sky from trail in the sky (classic jrpg game 2004) 😊😊 yesterday nintendo direct japan have announce for remake game
@@DaviVasc Hey man! I love your videos. FYI the last bit of the song is a cutscene at the end of the level and isn't linked to much else for the sound. There wasn't anything to decode you missed here :) I think the second melody could be Badeline (the alter ego)'s leitmotif of some sort. Since there's a lot of interaction between both in this level it would make sense. By the way is there any chance you'd listen to some musics from OMORI? I'm really curious if you could figure out the context like you do with Celeste and Hollow Knight or if the music is too "simple" (not using music theory much to convey emotions) for that.
ok wait i notice something really freaking cool and i hope it was intentional. so somewhere i heard that the main melody was supposed to look like a mountain when written out, and it does. so then you have badelines theme which is a variation of the main melody but in a minor key. BUT, badelines theme doesnt go onto the second part of that melody, which is where the peak of the mountain is in that image, POSSIBLY representing how badeline doesnt want to climb to the top of the mountain. and to ADD to that badelines melody only goes back down and repeats. i thought that would be so cool if it was intentional
8:32 in this part you can hear madiline running away (the piano is very fast in a pattern) and then shortly after, you can hear badiline/madilines problems running right after her (now the synth plays fast in a similar pattern to the piano). I thought this was super cool and perfectly represents the gameplay and story during this part of the level. Badiline copies madilines movements a few seconds after
2:10 so in that interpretation, the piano would be Madeline, and the electronic sounds would be Badeline ? Now that I think of it, it makes so much sense 11:35 given what you said about the piano and the synth sounds. From my perspective the fast melody of the piano could symbolize all the stress of Madeline, replacing the calm and melody at the start of the song. And maybe the synth sounds being eclipsing a bit the piano could also mean that this sounds (so Badeline) have the upper hand here? To be honest if I didn't played the game, I think I would've been unable to think of it like that
It's not much of an interpretation tbh. Like, I don't know if he knows it so it *is* still an interpretation, but Lena Raine has confirmed that the characters had their own instruments. "All of the main characters in Celeste have their own instrument: Madeline has the piano, Theo has guitar, and Mr. Oshiro has a theremin-like synth. (The old woman is an exception, since in a lot of ways she embodies the power of the mountain & is a fairly omnipresent figure)." This was written before Chapter 9, so she said that Granny was an exception but I think it's fair to say now that if Granny has an instrument it is definitely violin.
I don't think Badeline is represented by the synth. Yap warning but let me cook. The piano/synth dynamic seems to represent the emotions inside Madeline, with synth being anxiety and stress. First piece of evidence to that is the track called 'Starjump' going into synths immediately after Maddie loses her calm Second would be the track LITERALLY CALLED ANXIETY, which is started by an unsettling melody which is progressively drowned out by synths until you can't hear it anymore, and then turning into calm piano when Maddie calms down. ^ Badeline didn't even reveal that she was present. Third would be the fact that synths stop playing immediately after Madeline stops hating/being afraid of Badeline in Reflection, and never appear again, even in the presence of Badeline. From what I understand, the misconception could be caused by the fact that early game Badeline is portrayed as an evil Madeline, the personification of her bad traits, so she often CAUSES stress for Madeline, and therefore the synths are consistent with her at first.
@@TheMinekBolt thanks for this analysis, it's a lot more in depth and accurate, and yeah, reading myself once again after that, my interpretation would let think that Badeline is an evil Madeline though it's a lot more complicated than that. And maybe we can even add the chapter 4 songs to that interpretation, especially the second one, where the synth sounds are particularly present even though it's not caused by Badeline, but by the temple which amplify oneself inner demons (It's a shortcut, but you get the idea)
@@phantom9831 Wasn't mirror temple in chap 5? 4 sounds like Golden Ridge. Tho I'm not gonna argue, I haven't touched the game in a while. Anyway yeah man you have a point, I was 30 hours awake and didn't think of that. Also that made me realize that in chapter 3, the celestial hotel, the synths start creeping into Scattered and Lost the more you progress, and the more concerning evidence about Oshiro you find. Badeline is absent during all of that, and actually, near the moment she appears before the boss, there's no signs of synths further on. So it wouldn't make sense either. Good thinkin
Hell yeah. I was overjoyed when you covered Scattered and Lost, my favorite track, and read it like a BOOK. I scanned your entire channel for Resurrections, my second favorite. I was very disappointed. But I knew that its too epic for you not to cover, and now the day I waited for has come. Yet another epic analysis, read the song like a book. You clearly know your stuff. This is why you're one of my favorite channels of all time.
The recurring back and forth between the piano and the synth is meant to represent hope vs depression. When you hear the main char theme in piano its the usually Madeline. In synth its usually baseline.
Lena Raine is brilliant. She also composes for Minecraft, and while the vibe is completely different, her flavor is so distinct you can tell it's her too. Minecraft music is either played in the background, detached from any actions of the player (though sometimes linked to the location) or through music discs that the player chooses to play. Is there any chance you'd be interested in looking at Minecraft? Between Lena Raine and C418 it's just astoundingly amazing.
Hope your next celestw song is reach for the summit, my personal favorite part when i was playing. Love your reviews, they explain so much, and i love celeste, the ost is fire
0:30 How could you play this game and couldnt remember this song dude, its the one of best tracks in entire game and nearly all tracks has same motif this song have
Nearly all tracks having the same motif helps with forgetting this kind of thing, you know. Multiple songs can get mixed up in your mind over time. When it's been a while since you played a game, and especially if you only play it through once.
Would be awesome if you analize Reflection Center of the earth B-side of celeste. For me is actually the best song of the game. Thank you for doing this type of videos keep it up!
Man, I remember the streams, very excited when there was fire lol. Yeah, I remember this track (and the fire). Cool. Since I don't have much to say today I will recommend to listen to The Last Door OST (the game is not popular so I will leave this comment jajaja, really good Point and Click game with good lore and music, graphics are also good 👀), I really like the soundtrack, Song for a Lost Mind has become one of my favourites, but the whole soundtrack is really good imo. That's it. ¡Adiós!
Oh, I've already played Celeste, what a cool game, to be honest I can't play it again because I hate every little part of that game again😅, but I think it's really good, and the soundtrack is also wonderful That must be why it was nominated for so many awards and even "Game of The Year" at "The Game Awards" in 2018

I thought the badeline theme was the madeline theme inverted 🤔
@@TheSpyder nope. just in a different key. don't really know where you got that from

This is my favourite Celeste song after Scattered and Lost!
Yo Tabea, how is it goin
So this is the song i’ve been hearing everywhere.
It's so good
Resurrections: chase is like one of the best, if not the best theme in any game of its year. its amazing
Yooo, this track is fire 🔥
So happy that you finally got to check it out!
Thank you so much for covering this! Please cover more Celeste songs!
Scattered and Lost is a favorite Celeste tune of mine, but specifically the cleaning sections.

Recently learned that you can hear madeline talk if you play the music in the mirror backwards. (chapter 5)
This song taught me stacking maj 3rds sounds mysterious
throw in some maj 7ths as well for extra DREEEAMINESS
Hope your next celestw song is reach for the summit, my personal favorite part when i was playing.

I was about to go to bed and then I heared the ending.
It was so disturbing I don't know if I want to anymore.
One of the most popular tracks from celeste! Great video!

You gotta listen to starjump from celeste too!
The official speedrun documentary OST.

FINALLY DOING CELESTE
I love Celeste! please more? :3
I always thought that at 4:15 the track (or at least the piano part) sounds like the theme from the zombie movie "28 Days later".
yeaa the best song in the game

wishful thinking, but I'd love to see some reactions to... pretty much any MOTHER music.
My favorite😂
You should react to stickerbrush symphony from DKC2
CELET LESGO CELARY
i thought it was an old video because i swear someone did the same thing the same title
I don't think C/G is a "sad" chord, more like a "release" chord since there is a tense g# in previous AmM7.
Personally, I see the sort of warped version of Madeline's melody as being Badeline's melody.
Davi, any song from Omori, please! Thank You for all
Pls do “Here we are” from undertale! 🙏🙏
