I used to repeatedly fight Kuja just so I could hear the song, 19 freakin' years later and it's still awesome. FF9 was a masterpiece, why they never made an animated series based off it is beyond me.
@@SassyCassie89 dont get too hyped tho. As far as i heard it wont capture the feeling. The game itself has a very dark lingering in the background story wise. That upcoming one most likely wont have that
@@eternalphoenixlp9482 fingers crossed they will but seeing whats happened with a few other ips I like I am trying to keep a level head. I hope its good, me and my buddy both still talk about that game like 20 years after we first played it.
Finally someone was able to capture the original feel of this song in their cover. I like what you did with the 8-bit style piano parts, but I wouldn't mind hearing a more classical piano take on those parts as well! Best cover either way.
After Kuja was beaten, it should've been a false ending with the party deciding what to do with him since he was still alive, but still very dangerous... All of a sudden to have Necron appear and explain his coming as Kuja's nihilistic desire to destroy absolutely everything drawing him out into the realm where our character's exist... Then all of a sudden he infests Kuja (Necron should've been immaterial and required infesting a living being in order to exist in our realm) and the party has to fight Necron-Kuja. The game is so similar to Dragon Ball, and the last boss should've been Necron-Kuja fusion like Masa Mune in Chrono Trigger haha
I just thought of something in my midnight drunken stupor... I know it's pretty much explained, but I thought of something else... I've seen this metaphor play out in other stories, but never quite put it together with this one, and maybe I'm way off... But the Crystal, housing our memories. If our memories are destroyed, we are destined to repeat the same mistakes, (duh,) but more to the point, the same mistake as Terra. Now what does that all mean? I dunno. Just a thought. That's one thing they don't say, it's up to speculation. What destroyed Terra? Was it time itself? (Well, Kuja eventually, but I mean the decay.) Was there more to it? And I don't imply some hippie shit, I just mean, maybe, it was war. Hatred. Nihilism, and through their actions, they invited Necron. After all, that's what they tried to implement on Gaia when secrecy and subterfuge didn't work, Garland issued manipulation and war. So it's a reasonable assumption. Not canon, sure, but the idea has merit... Not only that, the ship is named, "Invincible," and it's a massive war machine. It's like the Giant of Babil from FF IV. Maybe that's why the Lunarians were asleep as well. Because Zemus was a warmonger, while Kluya and Fusoya were on the opposite side of the spiritual spectrum, Light, which lead to... Lol, okay, I'm over analyzing as usual. Oh well. Hopefully somebody gets some entertainment out of my drunken analysis and rant. FF IX and FF IV are my favorite Final Fantasy games. With VI being number three, (As if anyone cared.) Lol, good night y'all. And you are most welcome for another comment that turned into an essay. Anytime. It's on the house.
would it be possible to use this as the background track in a performance? it jumps into forte where ive already planned to do so while singing and slows at the end the same way
