Is it me or did the funny cars tree the dragsters in every race.?
watch the tree. the funny cars get a slight headstart
@@Project71RI noticed that too. About 2/10 of a second or half a tree. The Top Fuelers have to play catch up.
Top fuel is faster than funny car. They have to even the odds or it's not a race.

They did that back in the 80’s or 90’s. Gave the fc’s 03 headstart on the tree

This could only happen at an IHRA track as the stodget NHRA would never allow it.

@@mikeolson4935 yes they did, they are the sanctioned body for the rules and safety of drivers and fans. The NHRA safety safari was there doing their job. So they had a lot to do with it, Comp plus and Flo Tv simply covered the whole race.
This was put on by PRO.Nhra rules were in place but this was not an Nhra event.@@jonmartin6451
