Hurricane Beryl remnants to arrive in the GTA | CTV News Toronto at Noon for July 9, 2024

- Toronto remains under a heat warning for the time being with the temperature expected to reach 30 C today and feel closer to 38 with the humidity. However, the storm will bring cooler temperatures with a high of 23 C in the forecast for tomorrow.
The remnants of Hurricane Beryl will arrive in the GTA overnight, with heavy downpours expected to persist well into Wednesday.
The city is currently under a special weather statement ahead of the storm.
Environment Canada says that while it is still difficult to pinpoint the exact track of the system, rainfall amounts could surpass 50 millimetres in some locations with “torrential downpours” possible at times.

Source out your alcoholic beverages in Ontario by going to the Niagara Region Wineries for your Ice Wines and Wine varieties. Craft Beer Breweries at home and at Beer Brewing facilities. LCBO will have to face the fact they are not needed when Ontarians can go to the source rather than the governmental distribution hubs.

LCBO workers are retail workers. Every single sector of retail has their only full-time people in management and supervisory positions. Everyone else is part-time with no guaranteed hours. Why should they have any different?
The loss of the LCBO with drinks being sold in convenience stores is projected to be 7%. They can more than afford to pay the workers more and guarantee hours.
This entire strike is bullshit on both sides.
