Hi, You said all the detectors has capacitors, I thought a capacitor of 0.47µF 50V should be be fitted only on the last detector of each circuit( end of line). Please correct me if I’m wrong. Thank you
@J1 fire systems - Hi I'm to get one the ctec. Where does the Call point connect to, to sounder or smoke detector? does resistor and capacitor comes with the system? Thank u in advance....
Thanks for that info. I have bought very same 2 zone panel. Following the instructions but still showing fault on zone. I'm using smoke detectorActive optical C4416 with base but keep showing fault zone light. I have installed eol to the detector. Thanks you in advance. I'm trying on battery power only if works then will fitted permanently with main
I think it’s for if you want to expand the zones and if you want to expand I think you need to get a zone expander card. You can then expand the panel to more than 4 zones. I think that is the reason but I am not sure as I have never had to expand the panel. Hope this helps :)
@@j1firesystems440 Wrong it's because the circuit board is exactly the same however many zones it maybe, so if you want a 4 zone panel they don't put the components on the circuit board for zones 5 to 8 due to cost. They then do something either programming it or add or removing a component so zones 5 to 8 don't show fault.
@@j1firesystems440 I was thinking about getting an alarmsense panel for Christmas but I managed to win a Zircon 4 zone conventional panel in a bid on ebay for £8.50. I do have some non-alarmsense conventional devices but I'll just have to wait and see what the panel is like when it comes
Here is a picture of the panel: images.app.goo.gl/YVqvy3gAbMNsuNhTA, but the first two zones have been labelled and there are extra stickers (probably from the company who installed the system)
Hiya mate yeah can you send me the link how are you connect door magnet for the fire alarm wiring please thank you

Although I am late, you are right, the capacitor is for end of line only.
Great video. Keep it up
Thank you for showing me this! It will be helpful when I get a panel!
No problem hope it helps :)
Good video bro great explanation
Thank you!
Good video
Thank you :)
Please can you make video how to connect 2 panels together please
You not explaining auxiliary power output connection and if you want to upgrade the panel.???
Awesome! I cannot wait until you test it :D
Thank you :)

If you are wiring together. Yes The call point would wire to the detector and the system does come with resistors and capacitors. Hope that helps :)

@@shaanmiah9433 Are you sure you have wired your detectors correctly? and have you definitely put an eol on the very last device?
Also no problem!
@@j1firesystems440 Hi I've sorted all working good. Actually I got mixed up with capacitors and resistors. So I changed them over and now its working.
@@shaanmiah9433 Ah ok glad it’s working now :)

Where did you get the panel from and for how much?
I got this panel from Safelincs and got this for around 220 pounds for a 4 zone Alarmsense C-Tec panel
@@j1firesystems440 ah OK, thanks!
