ive been doing music stuff for less than a year and did good until 6
I also reached 7, I’ve been doing music for 9 years) it’s somehow difficult to read these rhythmes on the first try..
I have played percussion for 5 years and made it to 7

It’s not easy but won’t take to much time to practice. What I’ve done in school is really crazy, it’s not only a practice problem, but also a luck test.

Level 9 had me with the timing of all the syncopated notes.
This sight reading was a load for me, but it's a good thing I got exposed to these types of rhythms. They look complicated but it's a bit easier once you slow down and count 😂 Hope this helps many more!
Finally fell apart on the 2nd system of #10. Nice video, I appreciate your channel.
Made it to 4 with no struggle than 5 to 7 struggled and 8-10 is no zone for me. I know my main struggle is any variation of eight notes and 16th notes. Hopefully I get better before the start of the next school year cuz it’s my first time in marching season

Good job. Easy things to read are harder to play in exact time and everyone can hear it. Harder things to read are easier to play because small errors in timing are barely noticeable. One exercise provides the full gamut and everything in between. Bottom line is you won’t be good until all errors in timing are reduced to nano seconds. Sloppy is good for chili cheese burgers but very bad for ensemble music.

Up to 6 pretty much okay - except that I noticed I was speeding the triplets. From 7 onwards...they'll take some time figure out properly.
I had 10 after 3 takes. Challenging!
I got to level 6 without any mistakes, 7 with 1 or 2 minor mistakes, and level 8 was kinda dicey, but I played 9 almost perfectly.
Playing number 10 is quite easy after a few reps. Sight reading it however was a bit difficult in spots lol
i said at 8 " Oh Boy" and thats where i fell apart
10 got me.

10 is easy on only the second rep, 4th and last bars were my only trouble sight reading but easy otherwise

I was good on 7, haven’t ever dealt with sixths, so I started dropping from there.
That's easy. The tenth requires a few seconds before going into it, like you have in any exam.
What you need is being able to play with any score, that's what you get most of the time.
"I didn't write you a part, here is the theme/piano". Drummers should seriously learn music.
Better now at #9. #10 is better but still tricky.

I feel like whenever there's a dotted note i 90% of the time wont be getting it, and my next beat or two will get messed up

En primer año te daban esos dictados? No me quiero ni imaginar lo que era el 4to año.
@@guilleleone98 tranqui no es como crees. En la universidad donde estudié, en el ramo de lectoescritura, gran parte del primer semestre se lo dedicaban a dictados rítmicos como los del video, e iban de lo más fácil a lo más difícil. Ya en tercero (que es último año que tienes ese ramo) te atascaban hasta las orejas con armonía funcional (conducción de voces, armonización, enlaces armónicos, etc)

Why did you write the notes up and not down
People seem slightly more accustomed to seeing upward stems. I know stems would often be written downwards in this position.
