i definitely feels that consistency it’s important, but i believe you should focus more on the craft than simply making music to drop. as much as i respect curren$y, i feel that his catalogue is kind of bloated. i believe the most successful artists strike a middle ground between consistency and quality
I totally agree, for me I look at it as you know what type of artist you are so you know your levels of being consistent and making quality music. For me, I choose to let the artist decide that. The one thing I’m not OK with is trying to chase unnecessary relationships that don’t necessarily get you to the places where you wanna go just just because you’re an artist like them doesn’t mean it needs to be this whole Boy club type of thing. I believe that Artist should work with producers, ANR‘s should work with Label owners, dances should work with Djs. That type of thing.
