The last day of Christmas is January 6th. It is the twelfth day of the 12 days of Christmas. I will never take down my decorations until after that.People start decorating too early . January 6th is the feast of the Epiphany , a celebration of when the 3 wise Kings came to see the infant Jesus. I will always honour this tradition but to each their own
I love your channel and your videos. My daughter (7) is an organization enthusiast and we watch together. I totally related to the trying to move the table without the husband by climbing under it, etc. with my Christmas tree, my mother in law actually recommended something to me this year to make packing it up easier.. she uses Christmas ribbon to tie it up around the middle. You don’t need to tighten it too much but it does help make a fluffed tree skinnier for putting away.. thanks again for your delightful videos.
I just wrote this same comment on Lauren Nicholson’s you tube video. When I want something done and no one is around to help me I do the strangest (mostly stupid) things to move heavy furniture. I am 56 and still do it. I am a little more careful how I do it but hey when you want something done you don’t want to wait.
My decorations are still all up! I usually leave them up until New Years weekend. My snowmen will stay up until February. It is much more fun putting the things out ...then putting them away!😔
We’re in PA so I put all our red Christmas decor away and leave out the winter look till March. It looks so pretty with the snow we get up here! Plus it’s not such a huge task of putting it all away at once and we have ALOT of Christmas decor - I start decorating right after Halloween ! Your home was so beautiful for the holidays, you have great style 😊 Happy New Year ❤
Riding the King of Christmas Tree had me hysterically laughing...such talent you have !!!! Then being arched under the table with the music you chose...I was dying !!! Had a circus type feel to it and I loved it !! Thanks so much for the entertainment !
Isn’t it amazing that when we put decorations up it is all excitement with lots of willing helpers. At the end no one wants to help, you can’t see them for dust. Great video.
@@shannonmcrae1364 Major feast days like Christmas, Easter, Pentecost are celebrated as an octave or eight days. The twelve days are the days between Christmas and Epiphany. But the Christmas SEASON continues until the Feast of the Presentation which is February 2nd.
I have to at least wait until Christmas is actually over (the 6th) and I love seeing the decor all through January, BUT I also love the reset and organization so even though I can’t take mine down, I am living vicariously through you. 😜
Suggestion for your back. So I have multiple autoimmune diseases and multiple areas of my back have herniated discs and degenerative disc disease. So I have tried TONS of products and can tell you that this works extremely well for my back and neck and everywhere else I have pain in specific areas. Brand is Medterra cbd cream 1000mg. No thc and it’s awesome. I order it directly from Medterra’s site. I promise it works well and quickly.
I hope your back feels better soon. I am the Queen of trying to do it all on my own, my husband is always telling me off for it as well! Your technique for getting the tree in the bag ... superb. Reminiscent of me packing tpcome home from our holidays 🤣 Enjoy your fresh house x
I love seeing the Christmas decor in my house- but I LOVE resetting everything ( we took it all down yesterday) and having a fresh start for Jan. 1. This year I went through EVERY BIT of our Christmas decor and downsized and got rid of what I don't use. FEELS AWESOME. I'd love love a video on New Year goals, etc.
I use my blankets to protect my mugs also lol I started packing away seasonal mugs two years ago and I love it ! Frees up so much space and its fun to get them out each season !
I did the same thing trying to get a new rug in while my hubby was out of town! lol I decided to put it under the table bar with the ends each curled up like a scroll. Then i lifted each side to un-scroll.
I used to take it all down next day but as my son got older he expressed how he likes it up for his birthday which is on new year's day...the older i get the more I only decorate to make him happy because it is all so exhausting anymore. I have really decluttered a lot of it and just keep what we enjoy seeing every year. I love video's and go put some ice on your back.
Good job moving the table, I had to laugh I am the same cannot wait for my hubby. Do you carry in multiple grocery bags as well to limit your trips. I hate carrying groceries. Love your family and your channel, you are a breathe of fresh air. Hope you had a great holiday, Happy New Year.
GIRL!!! You gotta getcha some furniture coasters that slide along the floor to help you move furniture. Then you just have to lift one corner at a time to wiggle the rug under and maneuver the furniture up onto it, then it just makes them slide so nicely. Lifting one corner, no the whole table helps. Hope your back is much better today!!
I love the ornament organizer! I might have to get one of those next year… my glass ornaments are wrapped in paper towels and tucked into ziploc bags and then placed in an old Pampers box and taped up until next year… 😅
I'm sitting in the Frankfurt airport, traveling alone, laughing as quiet as I can you describing riding the Christmas tree THEN riding it....people must think I'm crazy!! 😄😁😆😅🤣😂
As a Jewish woman who has always looked longingly at all the Christmas decorations I’m amazed at what you’ve got and the amount of space that is needed to store it, Brava Angie your home is back to normal ☮️💟✝️
Wow!! Kudos to you on doing an amazing job by yourself. You actually had me worried when you were moving your heavy dining room table. I hope you are feeling okay with your back. Sometimes it is the next day when you really start feeling the pain set in even more. Look forward to the next video but give yourself time to rest. 🤗
Awesome video!!! I actually use my Christmas dish towels to store some of my fragile decorations!!! Great use of the Christmas blankets!!! Happy new year to you and your family! 🌻💛🌻
Riding the Christmas Tree bag🤣Ditto here too. I kept thinking why didn’t I just save the big long box it came in😂Those bags aren’t easy to get up the attic stairs!
I would love to get the tree dowm right after Christmas but tradition here is after new years. So I'm hoping that it will be done in the first full weekend of January.
Hi angela I love all your videos I have watched your videos since 2018 so be here a while. Hope you and your family had good Christmas and happy new year all best for 2023
Your beanie looks like the one I ordered from Marlylilly. It's monogrammed and I love it. The company has a lot of cute items too. Thanks for sharing Happy New Year.
The hissing cat😂 I was laughing well before you even got to that clip. Also you’re supposed to kind of flatten the tree. It’s a whole process for me since mine has to go into the tiniest little corner of my closet
Oh yes! I wish I had a video of myself, pulling the very same maneuver to move a table by myself! 😅🤣 You’re not alone in coming up with these creative, albeit dumb, maneuvers! Don’t, I repeat, Do Not, keep doing these things. When you’re my age (70) your back will be rebellious from the dumb things we women do as ‘youngsters’! I was the queen of rearranging the furniture. 😂🤣😂
Do you own those plastic pads called furniture movers? They really work well if you have to move furniture by yourself. You just slip them under the legs of the furniture and they glide across carpet.
You are such a hard worker and I know you are passing those skills to your children. Sometimes we just have to ask them for help...hope your back is ok
I finished boxing up my Christmas decor yesterday but have to wait for the hubs to put it and the tree in the garage for me… since I’m 7 months pregnant. Then the deep cleaning and reset can commence!
Oh my gosh, me too, sister! Me too...In regards to cleaning up Christmas and prepping for the new year! I am trying to get some major cleaning done so I wake up to fresh and clean on Jan 1st. New start! I have those bags, love them. I also stick dryer sheets in with my Christmas linen when I pack them away, lol.
I am totally that way! I was wanting to take things down on Christmas and my husband told me to wait at least one more day :-) So December 26th the tree came down :-)
We usually wait til after Epiphany (Jan 5th) to put up everything, but I’m getting antsy. I think I’m going to slowly take things down, and take down the tree on the 6th. 😬 This video is making me get out the storage tubs. 😂
@Kate Aragon Well, for one, I enjoy my Christmas decor. 🎄 Once Christmas is over (Christmas day) I'm over it and want things back to normal. For me, I don't see how people can leave it up until NYD.
Girl! What the heck? You are just too determined for your own good. I even showed that clip to my husband. And I’m telling you, if he did something like that and got hurt, I’d be mad at him. Imagine how much easier it would’ve been with CR on the other side and the big girls helping too. Easy as pie! I did get a lot of the same containers to pack my ornaments and decor away. I do really love that one for statues and such. May have to add that to my Arsenal too. Now be careful. (I know you won’t-it’s just you.)
Time will catch up with you someday you should not be doing that kind of stuff when you are a young woman you're destroying your body I should know I did it I worked so hard in my home and today I can barely walk and the pain is excruciating
Using the Christmas blankets to wrap up glassware for storage is actually brilliant!
You packing away the tree in the bag is hands down the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Loved it! Always enjoy your videos!

Holy smokes, Benjamin is so tall!
My decorations are still all up! I usually leave them up until New Years weekend. My snowmen will stay up until February. It is much more fun putting the things out ...then putting them away!😔
I use blankets, stockings and other fabrics as well for breakable items. 😊
Ohhh, you made me chuckle so much when you were trying to close the bag with the Christmas tree 😆👏🏻👏🏻 lol
…and the table! 😆 I can’t 😂

Me too! Very funny and the music she chose for the background was perfect! Lol!
😂
I laughed so loud…I woke my husband up….
Also - girl, you have GOT to get some furniture sliders!! 🫣🫠😂😂
That would probably be a wise decision 😆
Isn’t it amazing that when we put decorations up it is all excitement with lots of willing helpers. At the end no one wants to help, you can’t see them for dust. Great video.
I love that Rosie is ambidextrous!
Under the 😂table I laughed so hard! You’re so relatable! ❤
It's still Christmas!!!!!!!!! :) Christmas starts on December 25th!!!!!!!
For Catholics , Christmas Day lasts for 8 days and the Christmas season goes until February 2nd. Still partying here!
I thought it was 12 days?

Thank you Angela for the laugh! "Riden the Christmas Tree" LOL There has to be a Country Song for this action!
Love that rug with that table 😍

great song when you watch this video in faster speed lol

I've used the "hissing cat" technique also. I'm impatient and want things done when I want them done. Lol

Put the biggest piece of the tree in first
I learned from experience lol
hahahaha I have a king of Christmas tree too and I always fight and ride the bag! I think it is because I give it some super fluffing powers.
Hi angela I love all your videos I have watched your videos since 2018 so be here a while. Hope you and your family had good Christmas and happy new year all best for 2023

Loved your green and pink flocked tree!
Very nice video. Thank you Angela😊

lol! You made me laugh so many times in this vid!
I’m sure you have answered this question before but where is your dining table from?
Where is your table from?? Could we get a link? I need one that big!
Watching you move the table by yourself just like I do. ❤ Using your whole body as leverage. It’s the only way! 😂
Right?!
You are such a hard worker and I know you are passing those skills to your children. Sometimes we just have to ask them for help...hope your back is ok

LOL!!!! You're so funny
The first shot of you I thought Oh that must be her teenage daughter!
I’m rolling 😂
be careful enjoyed video ty for sharing
I took down our Christmas stuff already too! Happy New Year!
Happy new year!!
I am totally that way! I was wanting to take things down on Christmas and my husband told me to wait at least one more day :-) So December 26th the tree came down :-)
26th it’s over too
I put all my Christmas stuff away Dec 26th. We where just done with the holidays
If you don’t ride the Christmas tree bag or box to get it closed, are you even doing it right??? 🤣
It's pretty much a requirement for proper post-christmas un-decorating 😜
We usually wait til after Epiphany (Jan 5th) to put up everything, but I’m getting antsy. I think I’m going to slowly take things down, and take down the tree on the 6th. 😬 This video is making me get out the storage tubs. 😂
now that the Christmas things are put away the house feels empty
Mine came down yesterday!!!!
You work hard, you need a cleaner a couple off times a week ❤
I'm with you on taking down Christmas stuff. Mine comes down Christmas day.
What a way to ruin Christmas 🙀
@@username33ish 😁 For who? You don't live here so why should it matter to you?
@Kate Aragon Well, for one, I enjoy my Christmas decor. 🎄 Once Christmas is over (Christmas day) I'm over it and want things back to normal. For me, I don't see how people can leave it up until NYD.
@Kate Aragon 🎉
Good grief Charlie Brown, my back hurts just watching her!
I can't do trees after Christmas. We ere hosting a new year's day lunch so came down the next day to start fresh
Un-decorating isn’t my favorite 😂

I take the Christmas stuff down the day after, I am over it by then. I had to laugh because I have moved my table the same way, and yes my back hurt.
