- David Bombal and I teamed up to create an Nmap course that digs deep into the network scans and shows how they work. We learn how to capture the scans with Wireshark to analyze what really happens on the wire. Check it out!

Thank you!
lol... love it!!
So happy to be collaborating with Chris on this amazing course! Thanks for the hard work Chris!!
Thanks for the help along the way David! I needed that extra push to get it recorded!
Dang, when this video started, I thought, "There's absolutely no way I would buy a course on nmap. There's a million other resources out there, and I don't honestly need such depth of knowledge." At the end of this video, I think I going to sign up. You two are quite persuasive and make it sound like a great deal.
Thanks for the comment! Looking at Nmap through the window of Wireshark is a fun way to learn more about the scans. Have fun with it!
Thank you so much, Chris and David, for creating such an incredible Nmap course. There are various courses and videos on this subject, but yours is by far the best among all! Appreciate the effort and thoughtfulness you've put into it. Thank you once again for providing such an exceptional learning experience!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Just completed your Wireshark course on Udemy. It was fabulous. Excited to complete this one as well. I hope it is as good as Wireshark course if not better. Glad to find your channel and courses.

Fantastic!
When does this course start? I found your channel a year ago when looking for Wireshark help in my first network forensics course and think you are and David are doing a great service by teaching and explaining these topics to the masses. Thanks for the great content!
Link is in the description! it's out there now!
Great Content Chris! Packet never lie! Could you please do a video of tracking packet when NAT take place and to track packets when traverse via Load balancer ( Front end and back end ) ?
Awesome Chris, I learned a lot with your videos, are you recommend some books??
Purchased...thanks for all the great content
Awesome! Thank you!
hmmm, this may be the answer to my other question i asked on the video you two did. I am an aerospace and biomedical engineer BUT 18 years ago i started a bachelors in network engineering and cyber security. I have been wanting to refreash my CCNA and nmap skils as well as wireshark... this might be the course for me haha
Hope you like it!
Congrats Chris!! Loving how a simple idea becoming a reality 😉
Thanks Faran! No kidding! I remember chatting about this with you a year ago. Here we are!

Thanks a lot to share your knowledge 😉😉😉
My pleasure 😊
Hi Chris - Can I have the course link please
Thanks Chris for your thoughtful videos. I need one help from you to understand what is the basic tcp background process runs to serve the request coming in from different virtual ports.. i know if ssh is running it guarantees tcp is running. But my exact question is what are the different services running in background for different tcp/ip network stack in each and every network enabled systems. I want to know the background services which is responsible for each level of tcp protocol in a system.
Thanks in advance!!
Also what I understood about each stage of tcp protocol is it's a collection of background processes which runs once the preceding service or process provides output to it. Kindly correct me if I am wrong.
What is the best tools learn for cyber blue team?
Is this course for complete beginners? Or do I have to learn some basic networking skills before this course? Just asking please reply.
Hey Chris as usual I appreciate you sharing these valuable contents with the rest of us, I am not very familiar with Wireshark and I would like to learn more about it what do you recommend I should start with your videos or paid courses that you offer.
Where is the link?
Hi @Chris , I cant find this course on Udemy business , kindly help me .. I 'm Interested
I'm hoping that it does well in the next few days and Udemy Business picks it up for their catalog. I'll have to wait for the udemy algorithm.
hey Chris I am preparing for CCNP i know about tcp/ip suite i have read the book tcp ip illustrated by Richard stevens..I want to be a packet head like you...what blueprint should I follow?
Check out my Masterclass here on the channel!
Will there be a free version of your RUclips channel in the future?

count me , I'am in
hi bro my client to server scenario TCP connection intermittently getting RESET from client side initiation after successful SYN first packet and SYN+ACK second packet received at my client machine. Then my client machine send sudden RESET to server instead of completing the 3-way handshake. on analysis Out of 100 TCP connection i can seen 25 RESET from my client machine to server. i believe something unusual at my CLIENT machine.. i differentiated all successful request and failed reset request. There i found whenever my client machine sent RESET above the wireshark line of each stream on received SYN+ACK delta time is above >500ms to 900ms... On all successful TCP request there syn+ACK received delta time on my client side wireshark shows below than >450ms . So i believe my side machine expecting that SYN+ACK packet receiving to my client machine should below the value of
How do we get the course!?
Sorry, av seen the Udemy link
Thumbs up👏
Looking for another collaboration video with @Davidbombal sir.
I gotta get on that!
Great
these guys are making this sound so complicated
👍
It’s one thing to simple push buttons and watch “stuff” happen, but in the legal world (criminal and civil), you may very well be called to testify to the veracity of the “evidence” you discovered. If you lack experience and don’t understand what is going on “under the hood”, prepare to be made to look like a bumbling fool. Your evidence will be easily suppressed. So, yeah you need to know more than pushing buttons and typing commands and stating “well that’s what I was taught to do, but I don’t know what any of it really means or how it works.”
🚩😀
Oh, hold up! Pay? We gotta pay something? I though you guys already get paid for making content & getting people to watch it. I'll just go ahead & find some other free course then, I guess.
What a useless comment.
