Almost definitely the best weekend of my life!

Be it the weather, the partying, the staff especially the guys in the belt shop who put up with our drunk shit!😅 (Not including the one dick at the phone stall who tried to give me a fake £10) or the fact we could see each others facial expressions again, it was perfect!
After all this time I managed to properly catch up with so many of my old friends & re meet people properly burying the past to be on better terms.
The Social side of this Festival was perfect, nearly everyone had the same vibe with us all being our true self & more importantly happy!
So many smiles and nice interactions, no trouble, no (nasty) drama's and a true proper Metal Festival.

I Vlogged nearly the whole thing again, so chances are if we met at some point you'll play a (Non incriminating) part. I will put that out at some point later this week.

I did however have 1 bad experience the whole weekend. While moshing in the tent in early hours a chap bounced into my shoulder, fell and broke his ankle?... The Security/attending first aid was actually awful to watch and after the 20 mins or so he was carted off. It shook me up man, if anyone could let me know if he's cool I'd appreciate it. But the Metalheads gathering around helping out summed up this weird friendly messed up brotherhood.

But yeah somehow the Taxi lived through another Festival 😂 we shot some classic stuff for the Vlog & included true party shenanigans.
Had a true emotional moment remembering the pals that have left us recently and because of the situation over the last year, we never got a goodbye or memorial. But they left a mark and it was good to reminisce.
In terms of the bands Cradle of Filth, Kreator & Judas Priest... WOW! But unexpectedly Devin Townsend man! 🤣 I've never been a fan but was truly blown away! Dancing elephants, a choir, a gorilla playing Bass? Describe that to anyone and sound like you ain't on "Party enhancers"!!... 🤫
To the few I missed or wasn't coherent enough to converse with properly we'll catch up properly soon.

I've been watching a lot of Bloodstock vlogs at work recently (great way to pass the time), I have to say I prefer yours for the fact you focused a lot on the communal and social aspect of the festival. I wouldn't imagine a lot of other festivals in the world have that

It's so hard to watch some others when they stand 100+ feet away & film the stage with a shaky phone for 10+ mins... No bond with the people.
I've always thought it's best to show the reality both good & bad stuff.
It's not long until we get back there too!!!
