Mr. Park shows more professionalism in a 3min set than most artists show in a half hour. His dance lines are clean and fluid. His vocals are easily identifiable as talented. Did you notice how simple he makes it look when he hits the high notes without any straining of his voice? More importantly he involves the audience with every performance. He is enjoying it and does everything possible to make sure his fans are enjoying themselves as well. I've watched other artists who looked lifeless on stage live. J.Y.P. and his list of performers always have an attitude that seems to say to the fans....."Hey thank you so much for supporting us. Let's get together in a concert, have some fun and celebrate!!!". Mr. Park is saying to the fans, "Let's get our GROVE BACK. As a matter of fact even "Twice" had a comeback song titled "Celebrate"!! J.Y.P. loves their fans. While I would not waste my time watching any K-pop group, I wouldn't be wasting time watching this guy. He has a band with him and the musicians are good (love the lead guitar solo towards the end).
This is what a K performance should be like. He has band with him, and don't you love the bass riffs? Just listen to the lead guitar solo towards the end of the song. The reason I am not into K-pop is that everything just sounds the same, no bands or musicians with them (an exception was Jae Joong in Japan, when he did a cover of Hyde's Glamorous Sky and he even introduced the JYJ band). When I heard Cho Yong Pil's "Mona Lisa" in "Unlock My Boss," it just sounded so good I needed to check it out. When I saw the performance, I thought, "This is what is should be like." Also good lead guitar solo in the song. I would watch this guy's show in Brooklyn, but it's too close to The Last Rockstars, which I already have tickets for. I cannot be visiting NYC two weekends in a row.
