May God continue to bless our beloved mother Mama Kuburat Bisi Edionsere known as “Cash Madam.” I could remember her very well including Alhadja Jarinat from Ikorodu honored by Sunny Ade in one of his records in those days while partying around in Lagos. Thanks for the story. I grew up in Lagos 70 & early 80s. Though I was young, our family tailor ( Baba Shade) was a fund player of Baba'legbas music. He'd sing it to us as kids while in his shop. I lived in surulere, so this music was played on street speakers and you'd see the lovers of music dance.😊

I share her 1st name. Our name isn't common and thanks to her named song 'Cashmadam' and Eddie Okonta singing 'Bisi. I has so many people sing this essay songs to me once I mentioned my name. I doubt if I've met her but, I know her sons.
