I heard that this song was about Jerry Cantrell's dad who fought in Vietnam. As a veteran myself, thank you for the best tribute to Mr. Cantrell and all who served.

Ive watched a dozen of these videos from this performance and Sully just seems Defeated almost. Maybe next time. Hard to not be stupified by Aaron Lewis's Voice. I probably would do the same haha.
