I just wanna say that I love how you portrayed Domua, if you’re sticking with the OG backstory like Demon Domua, then even if Kotoha died, he wouldn’t really show that much emotions and keep calm even if someone he cared about died, and I absolutely like how you continue to run with that idea, even in a Swap AU.
Tbf Douma doesn't and never did care about Kotoha he just kept her around for a decoration I'm pretty sure

@@SenjuroRengoku-lf8ph you’re correct, in the manga he said the only reason he kept her around was because she was a pretty decoration, plus seems like he had no hesitation to eat her when she ran away so yeah.
If he didn't care he would have ate her the moment she know about him, yes, maybe he let her live cause she was pretty but why was he planning to let her live even I if she grow old, maybe he liked or cared for her but he didn't know that

I feel like a good thing to add is that Shinobu only killed Kotoha because Douma killed her sister. And how she learned that Kotoha was somewhat precious to Douma was from one of his jealous cult member or random person that heard of the cult basically told her about it accidentally :D

I honestly really like how you portrayed this! Especially since Kotoha dies by Shinobu's hands. Because in the original au, Inosuke saw Shinobu as a mother figure(from what I've heard), and in this au Shinobu kills Kotoha, which is Inosuke's mother. Nonetheless, Douma is still involved with the au, because he desires to kill Shinobu for murdering Kotoha. In the original au, Shinobu wants to kill Douma for murdering her sister. How interesting how in both Douma and Shinobu want revenge for the death of a loved one(not saying Douma loved Kotoha romantically). It's just something I noticed. Oh, and your art is very beautiful!! 💞 *Oop, this got too long 😅*
