I bought myself the A3 variant from SWIT several months ago, and I must say, it's an excellent skirmish gun! However, due to the cold temperature in Denmark, the mags experience heavy cooldown within the first 10-15 shots.
I can imagine, here in the UK sometimes you can get away with running gas into the later part of the year and in the first couple of months, if it is mild or you're indoors. However, in the summer months I think this is going to be a great gun to use just like my TM MWS is.
@@AzrelSutcliffe I ran it with Red gas here the other weekend, and it outperformed some of the higher-end HPA guns at my local field. I don't have the exact range, but one of my shots went from one side of the field and hit a guy's face through a window. I'd guess the range was about 50-60 meters.
@@hjemsted4879 Very nice... The TNT Barrels SWIT use are excellent, I have them in a number of my other guns as well and they perform extremely well.
The WE MP5 is my second most wanted pewstick! As soon as I have some funding and my current projects are over I will be investing in one :) Awesome video, gained a sub :)
Thanks... As I mentioned in the video, a GBBR MP5 has been my unicorn gun for a long time, I know a bunch of people that over the years have had, sold and regretted selling their GBBR MP5s.. It is an iconic gun..
I have the A3 version, I love it. I did the diy npas screw mod to the rocket valve to adjust the fps on mine. Also upgraded my barrel and hop rubber which is pretty much essential as the stock rubber is not good. I recommend fitting the Poseidon turbo valve shims to the mags too, it seems to make the consistency and gas efficiency noticeably better.
Interesting about the mag mod I may look into that, yeah this one had a Barrel and Hop replaced with a TNT Studio Multi-Bore and TNT Hop Rubber.
is there any parts (hadnguard, stock, etc.) comability between aeg and gbb version?
Hi may I ask how much import tax was ? As this is available in uk fairly easy now
On the SWIT Airsoft site it say that the WE Apache MP5 SD3 can be purchased in either 400 or 370- FPS. This is too high for most sites in UK. Is it reduced during or before shipping? Or do I need to do something to it? Like have the Nuprol 1.0 gas?
When you order from SWIT Airsoft you include in the notes you provide to them when you provide your UKARA information, ask them to limit the gun to 350 FPS for the UK.
@@AzrelSutcliffe can I ask them to limit it to 320? Or i can have it at 350 and then use gas to get it down?

Depends on the time of year, but usually std Green, currently the ASG UltraAir. In the winter I use Guarder Power Up.
do you know what the did with the internals to put it down to 350 fps, ive had to put an RA tech NPAS into mine and it feels like i semi-ruined it
Actually I'm not entirely sure, I've been wondering the same this last couple of days. I don't think it was the NPAS system.
@@AzrelSutcliffe well if you find out I would love to know. One more question, have you tried replacing or looking at the plastic handguard. Mine rattles so badly, easily the worst thing about the gun. I feel a rubberised one would be so much better. Are any of your other mp5's interchangeable
@@Kivan12 Funnily enough I'm actually looking at replacement hand guard ideas right now.. Not found anything I like yet, but I will report back when I do.

Did you have to pay any customs fees?
Yes, when it came into the UK there was VAT and Duty to pay.

@@Airboss007Channel The fee is collected by UK Customs on entry into the UK, it is typically one payment.
What percentage did you have to pay for import duty ? I'm looking at getting a MP5A3 with an extra mag but just want to get an Idea.
