- I've been binge-watching day in the life videos recently so I decided to take my camera around today and make one of my own. I don't know if this kinda thing is interesting to anyone but I had fun making it 😅 Hopefully it gives a bit of insight into what life is like as a christian indie artist living in Manchester, if you've ever wanted to know! Every day is a little different but at least I was going places today so I thought there might be something more to see.

Can you tell me what is snare sample in other words, please? I was trying to understand but I really don't know. I speak spanish, but I am studying english.

Such a blessing watching videos from Jonathan. I am in my forties, a single mom and always get such a peace when listening to Jonathan's songs or watching his videos. this isn’t just a philosophy, but it is the truth, and it’s reality. JESUS CHRIST is the Way and the Truth and the Life. (john 14:6). the LORD JESUS CHRIST came unto the earth in the likeness of man and HE took the lowly position of a bondservant (philippians 2:7), not to be served, but to serve, and to give HIS Life as a Ransom for many (matthew 20:28). we are not saved because of our own goodness/works, since no one is good (morally perfect), except One, that is, GOD (mark 10:18), but we are saved by the unmerited love and favor of the LORD through faith in HIM and what HE did for us alone (ephesians 2:4-5). every man is given all he needs to live a Godly life through the knowledge of the LORD (2 peter 1:3). each and every one of us must confess of our sins to the FATHER, we must repent (acts 20:21), and we must strive to live our lives all to the glory of GOD in every aspect (1 corinthians 10:31). if we confess our sins, GOD is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness (1 john 1:9). when you’re a new creation in CHRIST, old things pass away and all things become new (2 corinthians 5:17) and we receive the HOLY SPIRIT in our hearts as a seal and guarantee of what is to come (2 corinthians 1:22)! :D

Thank you for this video. It’s nice to see the normal daily human side of artists. It helps someone like me that is overwhelmed with the thought of being some superhuman in order to be successful and provide value to others.
You don't need to worry about providing value to others. God already gives us the immense value He wants us to have when we seek Him and obey Him, and in this way, others automatically receive our value by just being there for them when we can. I say this as someone who worries for another person worrying about being valuable to others. As long as you remain in Christ, you will always be immensely valuable to God and to others. This helped so much. Been trying to find my own rhythm lately as God's bringing me into a new place of creativity. Even just seeing how you set your evening time just for creating, I realized that's also when I feel the most productive creatively. Just being aware of that now is going to help a ton in anchoring my daily rhythms. So NECESSARY.

This was really relaxing and oddly enough it motivated me to be productive
How do you make your money? I love worship, and have been fighting myself back and fort hif i should pursue making a living from writing/producing content for the LORD. I fear that the authentic experience will be lost if I see it as a paycheck or a way of surviving. Would love to know your thought process behind doing this for a living, and do you ever FEAR not making enough. I know the lord provides to each of us according to his promise of never abandoning us. But I fear if I pursue something out of his will I will be stranded alone
I can understand that fear! I think it's good to try things gradually. I started doing music in my free time while I still had a full time job, and I gradually transitioned into doing it full time. Also, when I first went full time I was supported by my church, friends and family as a 'creative missionary' and that enabled me to put in the time needed to work on music without the worry of how to pay the bills. These days I make my living from a combination of music streams, Merch sales, Patreon, RUclips ad revenue and the occasional freelance job (doing graphic design and music production for other people). But I have definitely seen God's faithful provision through it all.
