Could you guys address the question of how someone should practice by themselves? A good chunk of development of a player is on the court by themselves, and we don’t always have access to teammates to practice with.
The block practice, imo, is something players should be doing at home. The reason is because they're alone. The best thing coaches can provide at practice is a defender because we're together. However, at home, the key is the intention of why the player is training. If it's finishing, what are we trying to improve? If it's shooting, let's make it variable by changing locations. Incorporate different footwork. So players should be intentional about why they're doing something at home. That will make a tremendous difference imo.

Absolutely Paul. Simply making it as variable as possible. Differential learning could be a useful strategy in these instances.
