I'm so glad that Devale acknowledged that black women as a whole in this country had to work and didn't have the luxury of being stay at home moms while other groups of women could live a softer life and have their men take care of them and the children.

A beautiful and intellectual conversation
ALL relationships are like a mirrored image of ourselves, not just parents/kids. That holds true for romantic, friends, family. We cannot grow or heal without them. I never understood when people say they need to be alone to work on themselves. You don't even know what to work on when you're alone.
I've been following these two for YEARS...from one child to FOUR! They are my adopted family in my head😂 I love how Devale respects, loves, and cherishes Khadeen; and he is a consistent provider and support system for his family! Khadeen is a true Queen holding it down...big up mi sistren🇯🇲 Love, love, love them❤

Tamron is so right about the person you gravitate towards. I gravitate towards my dad because my mom died when I was 4. Now I have a wonderful mom (step) but it is a lot easier to talk to my dad. I am also grateful for that being a gay cis male out in this world because while he doesn't understand everything, he does know how to fight a support for me.
