  • In this video I create my kick drum preset on one drum and see how well it transfers to different kick drum channels. Create your own Preset Library for your live sound work and use it to speed up your work. I also show what to keep in mind when using channel presets on digital consoles (on Behringer X32) and tell you if you should be using factory provided presets in your live sound work. Plus, you can listen to how different kick drums can sound and how to listen for key problematic frequencies, how to gate a kick drum to reduce noise bleed and how to apply compression for more punch.
