Materials needed:
Silver superduo beads;
15/0 Miyuki matte nickel plated 15/0 seed beads;
3mm siam Swarovski montees and bicones;
10x7mm Czech siam ruby fire polished drops;
Size 12 beading needle;
Size B (4LB) Smoke Fireline beading thread.

I made one so far, I don't have any Montees, used a bicone a dark purple color, superDuo bead are in matte iris brown, 15/0i used matte dark copper, and instead of bicones around I used 8/0 bronze and the drop is a light lilac color.
I like the color combination, they must be very preety! :)

I have been trying to make this earring and having trouble with making it curve also, as in the comment below. I'm using Super Duos and 3mm crystals and Size 6lb Fireline with size 15 seed beads. Pulling tight from the beginning. :(
I really don't know what to say.. I just made an earring myself, because I wanted to see what could be the cause and it curved, easily.

Yes I used super duo and 3 mm bicone I've made 6 and not one of them will curve . Has anyone else had this problem ?

I have tried this earring several times and I cannot get the earring to curve it lies flat . Absolutely no curve at all . Can someone please tell me how to get the earring to curve ?
Did you use Superduos and 3mm bicones?
ciao! va bene che è il primo lavoro che faccio con questa tecnica e l'ho trovato piuttosto semplice, ma nemmeno a me vengono curvi... ho usato esattamente i materiali descritti, e mentre infilo i biconi certo si curva, ma poi è come se non si riuscisse a tenere il filo abbastanza in tensione... :(
Non vengono curvi perché non stai usando Superduo, ma Twins. Le Twins sono quasi dello stesso spessore/misura su tutta la lunghezza, mentre le Superduo hanno le estremità più affusolate: caratteristica indispensabile per avere la curvatura. Non c'è bisogno di tirare il filo, con le SD la curvatura avviene naturalmente.

Sidonia's handmade jewelry I had no montees either so just used another 3mm sw bicone and it looks just fine to me :-)

Sidonia's handmade jewelry Thank you Sidonia. I didn't know there were called "Pear shaped". I couldn't find Siam Ruby colour anymore.....shame ! I like the Topaz coulor ones, but there are running out of them. I'll see ! In the meantime, I've made the superduo earrings (the one with emerald bicones) and it looks perfect ! I used the smoked fireline you adviced me to buy and it's a very good thread. Thank you very much !
