For me, if I can make adjustments easily and get good results, my daily work becomes more enjoyable. The hand tools in the video are my partners.

I do not often use hard woods such as hardwoods. I sometimes use oak, but rarely plane it. When planing zelkova, I sharpen the blade at a slightly steeper angle than 30 degrees. The angles are done by intuition.

この前初めて鉋を買いました。使いこなせる用に練習します。

二枚鉋ならば、差し当たり刃同士を隙間なく合わせることができれば、刃に関しての調整は、そこまで難しくは無いと思います（ある程度の熟練は必要ですが、それは練習すればクリアできます）
私の考えでは、台の仕込みの硬さや、刃口の調整が難しいと思います。

鉋も、まだ、ここに並べきれなかった鉋達が有ります。
同じ種類の鉋でも、仕事で何丁も使い回しながら仕事するので、どうしても数が増えてしまいます。

私は、破風板の眉は、丸鋸と、小穴カッターでしゃくったあと、五徳鉋を改造して「反り五徳鉋」にしたものを使用しています。
ですので、破風板専用の鉋は使用していません🙇♂️

ですので、現代工の知識は、10年前からアップデートして無い感じです笑
昭和終わり頃から、平成半ばくらいまでは地方色が残ってた様に感じますが、現在は、産地による違いは、あまり無いように感じます。
鍛冶屋個人ならば、現在製作している方の中では、私は「圭三郎」さんは、良いなぁと思ってます。
