Shame is one of the best films ever made. It is a crime Fassbender was not even nominated for an Oscar for that role. Carey Mulligan was brilliant also.
I think this man is the single most skilled actor we have seen in a long, long time. His smile makes my heart melt, and other areas ache. I have always loved the Irish accent, and the Emerald Isle. I am smitten. His personality seems so very real, and down to Earth. Oh so jealous of those lucky ladies who have held his hand....sigh.

i just stumbled upon your channel and your interviews are the BEST. it's so much more intimate and you can tell the actors are so much more receptive and open to you compared to the same old, same old questions and obnoxious interviewers. it's fabulous and refreshing, you get so much more insight! and now i will spend my night watching these interviews, keep them up! :)

IMO he was a little too old at that point.also i think he is not as mainstream beautiful as what they wanted for 50 shades (im not saying Jamie Dornan was/is). also everyone know they wanted Charlie hunnam but he dropped out and by that time they prolly were in such a hurry to find an actor who was available at the time.also imo i dont think that fassy wouldve found the role fascinating enough. ..

Fassbender is a really good actor, and I actually think he has the closest resemblance to Flemming's own look of the James Bond character, if you've ever saw his early rough sketches. Also Im wondering with all this demand/expectation of modernizing Bond, I wonder if by the time Craig does throw in the towel, what if they all actually decide to start again with Bond, and Flemming's Novels. Actually making Bond set in the time Flemming once wrote the character??
I hate it when the interviewer wont stop talking! Just like holy shit let him answer the question and stop interrupting. When you meet someone of his caliber you just need to listen and learn, no one cares about what the interviewer thinks. But I do appreciate the video. Thank you
