I understand your frustration with other boats gettin on top of you. Happens to us all the time on Murray. What size head you using on your swim bait. Good video.
love your show. I am almost strictly a jig fisherman and fish in water that looks a lot like yours. 8' to 20'. Do you ever let it sink and just hop it over the bottom rather than a straight retrieve? I never fished stripers but caught 1000's of bass pike and walleye over the years
Happy 🐣 Easter Mr. Steve...have you ever tried a diving hard bait on those strippers? Rapala? Should work and not tear up your jig...however, those strippers probably strip the paint off a hard lure after a couple catches ! 🤣💯👍✌

That same thing happened to me, but some white folks unhooked it while I was parking the truck, people will do little evil stuff when you’re not looking

I prefer the soft plastic.
Plus it’s a lot more convenient dealing with those fish with a single hook as opposed to a mouth full of trebles.

I take off the treble hooks and put a 1/0 straight shank trailer hook. Hope it helps.
