Just found this channel because I’m thinking of getting this bike. Also a VW guy. Got a ‘71 Westy and a ‘62 Notch (the Notch is an endless project, lol).
@@TheE-LightenedArtist Yeah, '62 is early. Lots of one-year only stuff with it. It was pretty rough when I found it and it's an ongoing project to get it back on the road. My first car was a '73 Beetle and I've owned dozens of air cooleds through the years!
Very good videos by the way. I have a issue. I just bought a H7 Awd 60 ah. At first I thought it was great but then I found out they changed the advanced settings in the control display. It seems I have no slow start or start strength options anymore. I am stuck with slow start always on and that stinks for an experienced rider. I feel I am having power isues with both motors while in PAS mode. I am hoping I can work this out with customer support. Maybe if you get this message you can convince Wallke to go back to having a choice in Advance settings of Slow start or Start strength again. Having choice is best wouldn't you agree?
Wow I hadn't heard about that. I'm wondering if that's to preserve the motors. I think a lot of these changes that frustrate us are due to these companies trying to break into markets that have way stricter regulations. So, we folks that know how to handle them get saddled with dialed down versions of what could potentially be great, peppy bikes.
Not sure if I’ll be getting one. It’s a tuff decision though. For me personally. 40ah is plenty. So I guess it all comes down to foldability. Whether and how you’ll transport. When I ride my step overs, I find myself missing the step through. Hop on, hop off. The handlebars on the H7 are a huge selling point for me. Folding bars are convenient but the H7 bars look and ride so great.
The fact that you’re fisherman got my click to subscribe hi just ordered the Aniioki version of the bike you have but it won’t be delivered until mid July but I’ve already got my flat out ordered. To be honest, I’ve never tried the tanis armor but I’ve been a Flatout user for over 10 years. I had tried slime was not impressed.. But the Flatout has done fantastic. Never mind, the goat heads. Over a year ago I ran over a 3/8 inch shank bolt and the flat out handled it with ease. I’m still running on the same tire and tube and I only add air to that tire at about the same frequency that I add air to the tire that didn’t have a 3/8 inch puncture. Good luck on the tournament.
Cheers! Yeah flat out is way better than slime. And tannus isn’t bullet proof but it improves the ride quality so much. The KFNW tour is gobbling up my life but it’s so much fun and the anglers are all super cool. Tight lines!
Hey Tracy keep up The good content and love all the art work your imot from tats to cars! Way Cool Junior!!! Long question quick answer.. Im swapping to BMX bars witth no fold on my brand new H9 AWD. What part do I need to secure the forks to the body structure? Since you remove thag when the fold mech is removed?? Plus allow for you new bars to be secured in that same tubular area? I hope I make sense.. just at a loss ag the moment. Thanks for your feed back and help!
Hi!! Happy 4th! The steering stem is the same as a BMX. I literally took the neck and bars off my racing bike and stuck em on my first H6. I’d go to the bike shop and hold up different height bars. I went with 12 inch but I’m tall and lanky. Cheers!
Thanks bro !!! I’ll be lookin’ for it soon !!! Your bug is rad ! What motor are you using? Anyways I didn’t know you were in charge of WALLKE owners group … keep up the informative videos !!! You inspire me !
Man I had a 58 field find and built it from ground up .. I put a 2110 dual H/O Webber’s and as a 16 year old it was toooooooo much lol it was cool until I tacoed it around an oak tree … good ol days
@@TheE-LightenedArtist yes sir … my grandpa and I rebuilt it from frame up ! I didn’t have it too long …. A ton of power + a 16 year old kid = stupidness and crash …. Oh well lol …. FYI the liners are rad!! Again , thank you so much …. Do you think a “Ariel Rider” style handlebar work on the H9????
Hey Tracy I am looking for a suspension seat post for the H7 can you advice which one. There are choice from 27.2 / 33.9 which one should I buy. Thanks in advance.
It whined a bit at first but quieted down after break in. I think it’s more of a resonance thing. The motor noise gets amplified a bit through the fork tubes. Plus it’s right there in front of you. It’s my first dual motor bike so I figured that’s just how they are. I usually have ear buds in anyway lol
I just ordered the H7 for my wife and the H9 for me. Sorry I didn’t find your channel before ordering. These will be the first ebike for both of us. We r in our late 60’s and looking forward to adding a new dimension to retirement. Just learning about ghost peddling is there a hands on video coming for the H7 and H9 for gear change?
They were advertised as Samsung in the 2023 models. But the new large capacity batteries aren’t advertised that way. So I’m not sure about these later models. They seem to perform fine.
@@TheE-LightenedArtist Thanks for the response. I built my first E bike using a kit, cheap bike, e-bike kit and battery. I learned the devils in the detail over the past 3 years (5 days a week, 52 weeks a year), commuting in Maines conditions. I have found it to be very important to know things like battery cell brand, tire brand and sizing for conditions of application, brake pad replacement ect... This subject matter would make great content and would have educational value.
Sorry. Right after that video I started a knee injection treatment that kept me off my bike for the past month. That's why I haven't made any videos lately. I finished the treatments and should be riding again shortly. Thanks for watching though!

So cool. Yeah I have 2 67 projects. They're one year also. I actually put one an a 68 pan so it has IRS now. I'm thinking of making it a class 11.

I can’t wait to see you get the H9 and do a comparison. I’m torn between them and can’t decide

did wallke ever fix the problem they had with the front motor whining noise??

I took the brush guard off the headlight and the hum/buzz went away…. Nothing since !
I changed the drivetrain and tires and now mine doesn't make a noise anymore.
If you don't mind a question, what cells are Wallke using in these bikes?
