In theory, maybe. The decision making process is way more difficult though seeing that you need to account for your own life and other peoples lives on board. In an RC if you crash, it’s not a real problem. In real life, crashing is detrimental.
Because: 1. cool air from the outside is still more refreshing than the air coming from the A/C . 2. in older helicopters without a full authority digital engine control (FADEC) system, the pilot has to react quickly himself and abort the engine start if something goes wrong. In addition to look at the engine gauges, it is common practice to leave the doors open so that problems with the engine or gearbox can be quickly heard and responded to accordingly. 3. It looks cooler.
Super cool. Cant wait to do IFR in Heli.
Fantástico
Nice video. What's the box and wire non your headset?
Lip light and battery pack
Perfect landing!
Looks easier to fly than an RC because the pilot is looking out the front windshield in the direction of travel.

Awesome!
Waow...👍
Question, why do pilots have the door(s) open when they start/land/shutdown?
Because the AC doesn't work when the engine is off
@@danielgreen5803 but they do this when they land and take off again when the engine is clearly running

Cosa ceria ba
Bad panel, with out visibility to down when landing
you get used to it. 429 is not used in line work etc so visibility in some views is not needed. its a get to a place fast machine.
