Auto subbed. I have been closely following Artbat since early 2018 after they released "Tabu" and it was played by all the big boys incl. Solomun, and this is what put Artbat on the map. By that time they had already produced a few great hypnotic tracks that are a bit forgotten (Target, Strap...). But "Tabu" was a game changer and it's still one of the cleanest sounding productions you can come across today. Artbat steadily rose to fame and I was there to witness it. First time I saw them live they were booked for a warmup set at a relatively small open air party in Beirut. I personally believe that they peaked in terms of the quality of their music around the middle of 2019 where they released what I like to call the "Artbat trifecta": "Return to Oz (Artbat Remix)", "Closer (Artbat Remix)" and the lesser talked about "Faded". After that they created their own "Upperground" label and started to shift their style a bit to be more towards the energetic and dare I say the more "Tomorrowland mainstage friendly" kind of sound, which leaves a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. But man... whenever you see "Artbat" in the track title, it's still something that needs to be checked out and would probably still sound great even if their sound is changing directions. In any case, thank you for this Video, it makes it more palpable for me to understand why I appreciate Artbat's productions so much, and draws attention to things that I didnt even know that I love about their sound. Cheers and keep them coming!
I'm really glad you liked it!!! It's always helpful to me to do these analysis as well, so I keep doing them =D Don't forget to join our Discord Channel abstraktmusiclab.com/discord
Another cool thing ARTBAT does is cut and add beats to their songs, for example in Flame right before the buildup there’s five beats instead of the regular four, and in the drop right before the outro it actually removes a beat.
Excellent Analysis! Crazy of how they signed to Solomuns Diynamic at first and had their song Uplift played by him. After that it has been meteoric rise for Artbat... Do perform an Analysis on Adriatique another heavy hitter in the game now. Again, they came through Diynamic too..
Can you please make a tutorial on how to make the lead sound from More Love (Rampa &ME Remix) & Miracle - Rufus Du Sol Remix. They both have a similar sound, sounds very interesting!
Really interesting lead indeed man... that would be a great challenge.. damn, it would be tought, especially because he's merging with formant filtering Don't forget to join our Discord Channel abstraktmusiclab.com/discord
I know it's not that easy, but at the same time it's easier than it looks in my opinion. You know what I mean? But I understand and agree with what you say,.. just a way of saying =D
What I meant was, you can't just publish remixes, you need permission from the artist's. You need to say that in your video. You make it sound like you don't need to
Indeed I did not mention that, but I did mention that you need to get accepted by label, and that would require permission. But, indeed, you're right! If you watch the video about Fred Again, where I mention about remixing and sampling, I did mention then at least
Which artist do you want me to cover next??
Ae:ther please 🙏
Bodzin or Denis Horvat
Stephan Bodzin
Stan Kolev, Outta Limits Recordings style
Another I would like to see your thoughts on would be Marino Canal
This video is great.
Artbat is for me with camelphat really number one.
Very close after them comes anyma, adriatique, fideles, argy etc...
Thank you for the comment mate!!

Awesome video Leo. Would love some trance breakdowns of above and beyond or Andrew Bayer some time!
Noted! That could definitely be interesting, although he has not been releasing music lately. Maybe Above and Beyond could be nice!!

Can definitely look into Adriatique!!!!

Is it the wow sound in there??
As for Rufus du Sol.. it's a sawtooth in the sound of a pluck. not a hard sound to remake, and I'll look into it!!
Great video 🔥🔥🔥

#5!! Anyma stabs are so over used that I’m even tired of Anyma doing it.
Right???

Just do a remix like it's that easy, come on man. That's not real. Great advice is it
