Well, these days abyss are significantly harder for new players, or early ar 50-60 players i don't blame them. I was able to 36 the abyss since hutao first came out as f2p, but the hardest enemies back then were a piece of cake.
The dps trap is strong. I've been working on my supports now and that's gonna another month or so before I feel comfortable to clear floor 12. Just able to clear floor 11. Been getting 25* every month since I've started to attempt abyss. One day
You're right, another case of building all the 5* but the 4* support characters and sets are still a work in progress. And the em focused characters (anemo dendro and electro) should be 90! Amazing attempt nonetheless 🎉
I somewhat agree with you, however i think u have warped perception of lv 90 characters. It is true that char that do the majority of their dmg through trasformative reactions greatly improbve their dmg and char that do additive reactions and def/hp scalers receive a good boost too, but normal atk scalers don't really gain much for the cost it has, and is a lot better focus those resources in artifacts and weapons to lv 90. I too started playing in may 2021 and reached ar 60 (it was before Sumeru) with only my anemo chars at lv 90 and had no problem with abyss (to be fair rn with some dendro and hyperbloom/burgeon triggers i too would advice to level them to 90). My point is: bennett and XQ don't have to be 90, is better to use resin on leveling Fischl and Kuki and farming artifacts than leveling to bois to 90. Btw correction: Fischl is only really broken in aggravate when she's paired with a on field electro dps, bc with Alhaitham her A4 can't proc, so she's a better pair with on field yae (and trust me even if u dont want to play ur yae on field u gonna spend a lot of time on field "emerging" and "right hering")
Bennett should definitely be 90 tho. His healing and atk buff will increase significantly. Xingqiu not so much. Even mine is still at 80. Also i am just stuck with a c4 fischl for like a year now. Every banner she's on, I'm not pulling. I want her c6 so bad but sadge.
Sorry but not leveling your characters to 90 while getting depressed everyday for artifacts is just bad advice. Level>Talents>then you can go farm artifacts until the end of time. Leveling to 90, no matter how small the stat increase, is still an improvement compared to spending thousands of resin for garbage artifacts.
@marvindelamerced6593 yeah i actually agree with this take, it took me like 2 years to level up my Bennet and XQ to 90 and i wish i had done that sooner It's also a good change of pace, farming Artifacts can get really demoralising sometimes
@@Goobrino i do lvl some support characters to 90 but i have never really cared to go beyond 70~80 on most of them, and i have never really struggled as much consdering my stats are pretty high and the talents are already at 8, and i havent missed a single 36 stars since the first 4 month i started playing. I do admit that you need to build your supports the best you can, but really going beyond 80 isnt going to matter that much in most scenarios, and imo the reason he cant get 36 stars as easy is mainly because there are no actual teams build there, there are characters build up, but since the supports arent there they dont have any form of team building, rather than just blaming the lvls, its more of investing building them with correct stats. Also, this is outside the team building, im kinda sure the acc owner have actually never really tried as much to clear the abyss, he got the characters and enough artifacts to be able to clear it with at leat 33~34 stars, so i dont even think its an skill issue, its more of a time and importance issue for them, they probably never really cared to clear the abyss in the first place thinking it was too difficult for them and now that the abyss actually got to a most "difficult"(annoying i would say) state, then of course they will struggle even more
I'm a low spender, and I think what helped the most is the guides from RUclips. When I had so many fragile, I found eakes' domain tier list and farm the sht out of top 3, I have like 40 each of the artifacts (6 kinds).
The second half elemental requirements is actually insane. I ran Nahida, xingqiu, xiangling and kuki and it works but its always ends at exactly 7 min so it can be based on luck as well.
@@xxTentacle001from my experience, it feels waaayy better and easier to use a national team with Nahida or Tighnari rather than Kazuha in this abyss, he can easily go in the first half for a better aggravate team too, Kazuha isn't that great at destroying hydro shields as dendro characters or Jean, not that it's bad, but it's not enough considering the first half of 12-1 and 12-3 xd

they dont need to waste resources going to level 90 as long as the characteres are ascended to 90.. they just gotta build up the supports talents and get artifacts for them
they are exactly like me, ar 58 almost 59 and the most stars ive ever gotten are 30. except I have all the really good supports at least at level 80. fischl, kuki, xiangling, bennett (my favorite boy), xingqiu, sucrose (despite having kazuha and venti) are all leveled and they all technically have builds, even if some of them share with other characters. diona isn’t because i have shenhe lol. i have a bunch of five stars all built with their bis artifact sets. i have farmed a lot of emblem cause i main yelan and i used to main raiden. i have two full em viridecent builds and two dps viridecent builds. i just can’t for some reason. i could probably do like 3.0 abyss with the characters and builds i have now but the abysses just keep getting tougher.
It might be due to talent level. I have been building my characters for months now, and I can see a big difference in the abyss between lvl 6 and lvl 9 talents on the same character.
i think building the support is more important than too focus on your main dps edit : the first time i beat the abyss is when i build my xiangling, xinqiu, and benneth
It took me a year and half to clear Abyss 12 for the first time and I still remember that I cleared it for two stars. By then I was hating Abyss like nothing else and only forced myself to do it for the achievement. Not too long before that, I had problems even with floors 9 and 10 and I never cleared floor 11. I got better since then and I am 36-starring the Abyss for at least half a year now but I still don't really like it and I still struggle a lot with floor 12. But at least I got decent characters now and it's mostly skill issues what's keeping me back.
As an Ar 59 player who started building my supports at Ar 58 after realizing how much supports help, has gotten me so far. Granted right now I can only 32 stars, my 5 stars are pretty good and well-ly built. Supports are sometimes better than your 5 stars and putting them together will help so much!
It’s really weird that you’re acting like characters being 80/90 is a problem. You get almost nothing for those last 10 levels aside from rare cases like electro trigger for hyperbloom. The artifacts are the obvious stand out issue here, way too much emphasis on leveling characters to 90
It used to be rare. Not so much anymore. It's practically all dendro characters, anemo characters, and half the electro characters that are used as triggers. That's like 1/3 of your character rosters nowadays

It was such a nightmare, trying to group the stupid teleporting whopperflowers and trying not to get perma cc'd by the goddamn hydro heralds. Easily one of my most hated abbysses and Ive been 36* clearing them for over a year.
Almost at 58 and I have yet to clear floor 12 😅 but for a solid year or so I never spent resin because I didn’t know what it was 😂 My best is 29 stars…I’ll get there someday 🐌

Alhaitham I played (might not be right): try to maintain three glass at most, hit till two glass finish Elemental skill + plunging -> four elemental skill reaction (2+2) Burst + normal + charged -> five elemental skill reaction (3+2) And then depending on purpose I combine this two in different order, maybe some shit run so fking fast so I need fast attack so I eskill and burst hope it hit more.
Hu tao isn't aoe but if you have c1 and can spam charge attacks, she is actually good for the lectors so long as they are near each other. Add nahida for herald and that's game
I'm AR59 and the most I got in the Abyss was 33*. I have Nahida C2 and Yae Miko C3... All my characters are lvl 90 with maxed weapons and many talents crowned.
ima disagree with leveling bennet and xingqui to 90 while they are busted af units i feel that since most of his main dps units would benifit more from other 4* units like yaoyao or kuki the 80 to 90 for bennet and XQ would be much less more valuable for the account than having more versatility or farming artifacts so he could actually run certain units together like nahida and alhaitham
I just reached AR 56 and started in December too, what are the odds! This abyss was my first go at floor 12, and I can’t get past that second phase of chamber 1 with the abyss lector freeze comp so yeah, that’s pretty dang good
Watching this video just proved to me that when people claim abyss is easy and have the “all you need to clear” character lists that it’s complete bs. Artifacts make or break your characters. You can have all the best characters and weapons but with how trash the artifact system is in this game unless you have broken pieces it’s not easy. As an AR 57 player who can’t clear floor 12 this was reassuring to see it’s not just me
AR 55 and I’ve only gotten to 11-2. Only have great artifacts on like on 5 characters which is fine cause I started playing 4 months ago and didn’t know the value of artifacts until later 😢😅
bonkers to me that someone with that many 5 star weapons can't build up good enough teams. lecter/herald shields are certainly a monstrous pita, though.
I'm AR 58 and haven't cleared abyss. I choose characters based on whether I like their personality, design, voice, etc. and ended up with too many supports and only one five star dps (itto). I use 4 star dps (like yanfei) but they just don't have the same damage and need more investment. I hope the next 5 star characters coming up have dps kits!
great video next maybe push it ever further and try to clear abyss12 with someone pretty new to the game(few monthes) and f2p. like where he is lacking a lot of stuff and most his charcters are level 80 and below
AR 58 and cleared abyss once (no36 Stars). I do Abyss if it is easy for my Account (always 11 with all Stars). I always try floor 12 but I mostly dont try to complete it. Mobile Player btw Edit: I am almost AR 60 now and clear abyss every time with atleast 34 stars and I managed to get 36 once. I am geniuanly proud 😊😂
This is actually one of the hardest abysses ever I’ve never struggled until now. If anyone can leave team recommendations I basically have every character except kokomi, albedo, itto, yoimia, yae, childe, Klee, xiao, baizhu, and deyha All my characters are built super well I just don’t know what teams to run pls help☹️
U actually dont need 5 stars 4 stars is enough i think use yae, childe, baizhu, sucrose if u dont have any succ boys, use the whatever dendro with national usual xl, xq, benet outside that dont expect fast clear
There’s a lot of team comps you can work with. Floor 12 1st half is more AOE heavy than the 2nd half. Because 1st half has various dendro-resistant enemies, aggravate teams will have the upper hand over spread teams. The 2nd half is definitely elemental check, burgeon teams will do nicely in this side. Team examples: 1st half: Aggravate Keqing (keqing-fischl-yaoyao or kirara-kazuha), also besides aggravate you can run the usual Rational (just be careful in 12-3-1) or Freeze team (ayaka-shenhe-mona-kazuha) 2nd half: Nahida National (nahida-xingqiu-bennett-xiangling), Hu Tao Burgeon variant
Some players use different teams for each chamber. They clear level 12 once before the timer ends, then they redo it entirely with a specific team for each chamber to get the 3 stars.
lots of jp players in asia server don't even do abyssal moon spire lol, they usually have 4-2, 6-1, or 8-3 on their profiles, it's rare to see one that has 12-3
My friend is ar58 and never finished abyss until i play her account lol Altho finish with 0 star... All her characters either having 0 lvl artifact, low lvl weapon and low talent lvl. It was a struggle but at least she finally got the achievement :'D

It’s insane how much value your 5* hyper carries can gain from good 4* supports.
That’s actually the case for Wanderer. All his best supports are actually C6 4* and any 5* that can actually support him are often sidegrades.

Zhongli doesn't need millelith if ur going for dmg which it seems like there are, deathmatch would probably be used to balance the crit ratio

If u have kazuha u can Try international Team (kazoo, Bennett, xiangling, and xinqiu) for 2nd half

ima disagree with leveling bennet and xingqui to 90 while they are busted af units i feel that since most of his main dps units would benifit more from other 4* units like yaoyao or kuki the 80 to 90 for bennet and XQ would be much less more valuable for the account than having more versatility or farming artifacts so he could actually run certain units together like nahida and alhaitham

I just reached AR 56 and started in December too, what are the odds! This abyss was my first go at floor 12, and I can’t get past that second phase of chamber 1 with the abyss lector freeze comp so yeah, that’s pretty dang good
Watching this video just proved to me that when people claim abyss is easy and have the “all you need to clear” character lists that it’s complete bs. Artifacts make or break your characters. You can have all the best characters and weapons but with how trash the artifact system is in this game unless you have broken pieces it’s not easy. As an AR 57 player who can’t clear floor 12 this was reassuring to see it’s not just me
AR 55 and I’ve only gotten to 11-2. Only have great artifacts on like on 5 characters which is fine cause I started playing 4 months ago and didn’t know the value of artifacts until later 😢😅

I think the issue is he does have really well built characters but not enough supports, supports will give you the win with those insane dps
bonkers to me that someone with that many 5 star weapons can't build up good enough teams. lecter/herald shields are certainly a monstrous pita, though.
I'm AR 58 and haven't cleared abyss. I choose characters based on whether I like their personality, design, voice, etc. and ended up with too many supports and only one five star dps (itto). I use 4 star dps (like yanfei) but they just don't have the same damage and need more investment. I hope the next 5 star characters coming up have dps kits!

AR 58 and cleared abyss once (no36 Stars). I do Abyss if it is easy for my Account (always 11 with all Stars). I always try floor 12 but I mostly dont try to complete it. Mobile Player btw
Edit: I am almost AR 60 now and clear abyss every time with atleast 34 stars and I managed to get 36 once. I am geniuanly proud 😊😂

This is actually one of the hardest abysses ever I’ve never struggled until now. If anyone can leave team recommendations I basically have every character except kokomi, albedo, itto, yoimia, yae, childe, Klee, xiao, baizhu, and deyha
All my characters are built super well I just don’t know what teams to run pls help☹️
U actually dont need 5 stars 4 stars is enough i think use yae, childe, baizhu, sucrose if u dont have any succ boys, use the whatever dendro with national usual xl, xq, benet outside that dont expect fast clear
There’s a lot of team comps you can work with. Floor 12 1st half is more AOE heavy than the 2nd half. Because 1st half has various dendro-resistant enemies, aggravate teams will have the upper hand over spread teams. The 2nd half is definitely elemental check, burgeon teams will do nicely in this side.
Team examples:
1st half: Aggravate Keqing (keqing-fischl-yaoyao or kirara-kazuha), also besides aggravate you can run the usual Rational (just be careful in 12-3-1) or Freeze team (ayaka-shenhe-mona-kazuha)
2nd half: Nahida National (nahida-xingqiu-bennett-xiangling), Hu Tao Burgeon variant
Some players use different teams for each chamber.
They clear level 12 once before the timer ends, then they redo it entirely with a specific team for each chamber to get the 3 stars.

lots of jp players in asia server don't even do abyssal moon spire lol, they usually have 4-2, 6-1, or 8-3 on their profiles, it's rare to see one that has 12-3

Altho finish with 0 star... All her characters either having 0 lvl artifact, low lvl weapon and low talent lvl. It was a struggle but at least she finally got the achievement :'D
I honestly think running Xiao, Sucrose, Zhongli and Albedo on first half would be more effective.
