Our La Leche League family diet suggestion in the 70s was to "eat a wide variety of whole foods in as close to their natural state as possible!" I aim for mostly fresh, local, organic/ sustainably grown - in W Oregon that's readily available. I have a garden, with herbs outside my door - and gather some for most meals. I'm 74, have been off gluten 15 years (gluten sensitivity) and mostly pep my own food. I make dr Davis style L-ruteri yogurt using og canned coconut milk, and lacto ferment some veggies and stone fruit. Beans - i semi sprout before cooking, and add kombu and bay leaf to the cooking water (usually veggie stock) ....

What kinds of strains do you add to your yogurt? Where do you get it?
Do you think keto or carnivore as a month trial is a big no no? Especially with IBS-C?
