One of the summer mixes I planted this year had radish in it and I was shocked and how much bigger it grows and how quickly in the summer.
Yes more video on food plots
That section of property is HUGE. The deer are going to be eating well lol -have fun on your trip
i love these videos your inspirering me to do it
Summer plots are great for supplemental feed. Plots for deer season should be planted Labor Day weekend. That’s when we do ours every year. Comes up just in time for late bow season and last thru most of rifle season. Good luck. Look forward to seeing ur progress.
You're videos are so fun.👍
That's gonna be a helluva bottle neck food plot for sure! Keep em coming, can't wait to see pics after it comes up, super el nino weather pattern this year, should get plenty of rain mixed in with the heat!
Should look into planting chicory it’s up to 30% protein out of everything I have ever planted that’s been by far the most attractive and always eaten to the ground but obviously will very depending on area but definitely worth looking into!
Ayyyyyee ✌️
Curious how its all gonna take!! 🤞🤞🙏🏼🙏🏼✌
Why would you till under soybean to plant anything else? Soybean are deer candy.
I normally plant in august but I look forward to seeing how your food plot turns out
Great video bud and it will do wonderful things for the deer. Maybe sometime you could take a trip across the border to northern Minnesota were I'm at, the fishing in Minnesota is incredible and we also have giant deer like in Iowa
Yo peter
"promosm"
Rn they eating more corn and stuff like that they don’t go for ryegrass radishes until winter when there’s nothing else they might eat it rn but idk
I would definitely plant some more radishes and some ryegrass about September for sure
Summer heat will probably kill the plot I recommend planting it during the fall bout a week or two before deer season so it doesn’t get burnt up.
