No worries at all my friend. I'm here for the great content. If I take the risk of going snow blind watching this vid, it's on me. Lol... And your pack turned out great.!
Your stuff is real & useful... I don't watch the "AI" click bait junk, nor watch anything with an "AI" narration. Everytime I see a "bush"-craft exhibitionist, I block the channel. I did see part of one who went so far as to remove her undergarment and use it as a tea bag... 🤮. You keep on like you are. ATB
@baronedipiemonte3990 that is NASTY. I once heard people use coffee makers in hotel rooms to clean their underbritches. Maybe they could make a "survival" video out of that?
Hi from Switzerland. We used to sell these packs in the surplus store where I worked, but nobody bought them. You need the field jacket to properly wear them; most people don`t care about DIY backpacks. They ended up in the trash can-yes, trash cans-because people did not take them even for free. It's interesting to see them going over the Atlantic all the way to Illinois. Keep up the good work!
Will do and greetings from Illinois, very near the birthplace of President Ronald Reagan. That's wild that these were just thrown away. I can see they might be very difficult to re-purpose, but that would be a sight to see. Thanks for sharing that with us. Very interesting.
Please don’t be discouraged! It takes years sometimes to get a ton of subs. Worry about making content over subscriptions. It seems like your current fan base is pretty happy with your quality of content :)
I think I am mostly discouraged with the poor quality of my videos. That is my own fault and I really should not focus on what other people are doing, the girls in the woods and whatnot. I am grateful and very surprised at how many people dig what I've been doing here. It's pretty dang cool to say the least. Thank you very much
I prefer Videos like yours that are indeed basic/made just as you described with all thats involved using in the field. I've always been one who prefers/respects Actual efforts 👍👍
Thank you very much. When I started this, I told myself I would have to actually get out there as much as I could. Luckily "out there" isn't far away from where we are, so it makes it easy. Thanks for watching & take care!
I bought the Alpinflage pack with M70 jacket a couple of years ago, and tried it out camping once. The shoulder d-rings on the pack should have flat hooks that attach to rings on to the jacket. While the jacket is fairly comfortable when empty, well, imagine wearing an oversize field jacket with all the pockets stuffed with rocks, and the pack filled with firewood and rocks. Then try hiking with that combo for a while. Not comfortable; everything swings with every movement. Not waterproof. But for cotton it seems fairly durable. I like what you did with the pack on a frame, some support is definitely needed. The jacket is OK in fair weather, but is more of a fashion statement.
That's awesome, thanks for the review, I'm sure people will see your comment and find it useful. I guess I would compare the material it is made out of to a thin denim. Thanks for watching!
