    Bron was playing some good ole fashioned bully ball at times in this game. What sucks, is he could do this almost every game if he really wanted to. Unfortunately, that's just not his play style.......never has been. 56 points in regulation, is pretty crazy for a guy his age.

    Yesterday I had a discussion with my fellow Cavs fans. I told them that if LeBron were to come back here to Cleveland the Cavs would be favored to win the East. They thought I was nuts and then said he would control the team.
    So let's see. 10 Finals appearances. 4 titles. 4 Finals MVP awards.
    With this current Cavs team? He would lead them to their ultimate goal. Think I'm lying?

    • @BlueGrovyle
      @BlueGrovyle 2 года назад +4

      LeBron at C is a niche solution. He's big, but he's not a big man and shouldn't have to be. Though I do think defending perimeter players less and less often will continue to preserve his longevity. Having to box out centers is arguably worse, I suppose, but yes, it does work out for opposing small ball lineups.

    Ppl on purposely not mentioning the competitors of MJ.
    In that era, even Danny Ainge, Mark Price were all-stars.
    Comparing to LeBron, averagely Jordan played against players who had less athleticism, less size, less strength, in his era only a few can shoot 3s, big man couldn’t run the floor, no one doing handles like shammgod, no eurosteps. They played physical , but with smaller size of like 200 lbs.
    When Jordan left bulls they went from 57 wins to 55. When LeBron left cavaliers 61 to 19
    Without Pippen, Jordan never passed 1st round. Without Jordan, Bulls almost entered 3rd round.

      Well yes, he is. If you say he's not, you'd have to argue that the LeBron who was shooting ~60% from the field over a 27-game win streak in 2013 (man, that was almost 10 years ago?) wasn't definitively better than this version, which is honestly a bit disrespectful to his peaks earlier on in his career. It's okay to admit that he's not the same; that's only to be expected. The thing is, though, he was so dang good back then that this less dominant version of him is still one of the best players in the league a whole decade later.
