I had this issue with my Micra. Turned out to be a connector under the seat had been kicked. I disconnected the battery, then unplugged the connector. Waited and then plugged everything back in. Ran this instruction and light is now off. Thank you

A common issue with the K12 to cause the airbag light to come on is a bad connection in one of the airbag connectors where they hook up to the wiring harness. There's a very similar procedure (though I sadly can't recall the details) to get the airbag warning light to flash a number of times, indicating the specific airbag that caused the light to trip. This can tell you where to look. In my personal experience common culprits are the connectors under the seats for the side airbags or the connectors at the top of the C-pillars for the curtain airbags. Disconnecting and reseating the connector a couple of times usually fixes it.
Funny enough I'm trying to resolve my dad's same issue ..on comparing each side index seat drivers side has a small plug that plugs into a female connectir whereas the passenger side is just unplugged but no evident plug to plug it into . His brother game him the car and been great otherwise I've personally put ew wish bones brakes etc on it . .....I'm very sure 1 or both have a module between seat and centre console ..so to have a better look be easier to loft seat or seats . I'm.sure I'll get it sorted 4 him

Hi, I have this problem on my 2005 Nissan micra SPORT+, because I changed the seats and the new ones have a different connector, I tried to put the airbag system on the old seats and connect them but the error persists, what do you think it could be due to? Could it be because they are not installing inside the seats but just connecting them and that's it, what solution could there be? Thanks 😅

My Nissan 2019 Rogue Sport airbag Red light stays On Solid (does not Blink as yours does). It started when I had to disconnect the center console once. Any suggestions?
There could be multiple reasons for it staying on. I'd advise you to have a mechanic plug in a scanner to identify the fault causing that light.
It worked once for me, any reason why it doesn’t work anymore ?
If it comes back on and stays on, there's likely an issue somewhere in airbag system
